I just recently began researching my family roots. At the library searching different mediums, the librarian suggested looking at findagrave.com. We looked up my grandfather and there he was--holding me as a baby. I was so excited. My cousin's wife posted the picture and information. I contacted her and she got me hooked on the research and findagave.com.

August, 2011
While photographing my own relatives' gravestones, I have begun to photograph gravestones in and around the same cemeteries. I have created memorials for these people and posted their gravestone photos. I am willing to transfer memorials if they were your relatives unless they are also mine.

Hello Carolyn,

Are you related to Elsie and her children Howard, George and Ruth?

I'm interested in Elsie's husband John. Appreciate your response.

RE: Cletus
Carolyn: I am tracking relatives and so far haven't had much luck. I'll contact you if I find anyone that is interested.
Could you send me your personal email so I can get in touch with you if I get results from my searches?
Thanks, Bob

Genealogy research
Carolyn: If you live in a fair-sized city, there should be a genealogy club there. I highly recommend that you join one for the assistance and knowledge they have to assist you. The 'Mormon' church is a great resource also if you have one nearby that has a Family History Center attached.
I have been researching my family off and on for over 60 years. I have tracked my family to the first American ancestor around 1710 and 2 generations in southern Germany.

I'm always available to answer questions or ideas.

Cletus
HI: My name is Bob Boyer and I found that Cletus was married to a Boyer (Alma). I am researching all relatives as my family historian. I would love to find out if any of his descendants have any pictures of him and/or his wife. My great-great-grandfather, Isaac L had 14 kids. Abraham Lincoln was #13 and Alma/Elma was his second daughter who married Cletus.
I am a Find-A-Grave volunteer in Sacramento CA. Bob Boyer robertwboyer@comcast.net

RE: Fred Christian
You are most welcome. He was buried beside Florence Christian. I made Find A Grave Memorial# 130717976 and added a photo for her as well, just in case.

RE: William Fashbaugh
Carolyn - send me an email (I included it in the last email that I sent to you) and I will send you the following pictures:

1) I have a picture of John Fashbaugh's three oldest children; Philipp, Elizabeth, and John Fashbaugh. Do you remember that Philipp died in a mining accident? Philipp looks about 5 years old, Elizabeth looks to be about 3 years old and John is an infant.

2) A picture inside the bar that Philip Ries ran in Massillon. In the picture are his sons, Uncles Martin & Christian Ries and my grandfather, Ed Fashbaugh. I thought maybe one of the other gentlemen might be Uncle Andrew.
