Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Akron, Ohio, into a family that had lived in Greenbrier County, West Virginia since before it was a county and while it was still Virginia in the late 1700's and only moved to Ohio in the 1940's.

The Williams' were heavily interrelated to the Beards, Walkups, and Hannas and also intermarried with Parkins, Westlakes, Eagles, McClintics, Osborns and many more.

My mother's side of the family were Hanks, Garretts, Wests, Johnsons, mostly from Missouri and Arkansas, but farther back from Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina and Virginia.

My sister, Nancy, got me hooked on genealogy and finding Find A Grave has really enhanced Ancestry.com as a primary tool.

I'm retired military so I particularly prize finding ancestors and relatives who also served.

I am currently a senior Agile PLM consultant looking for work and live with my wonderful wife and children in Huntsville, Alabama.

I will gladly help out anyone in the Find A Grave community in any way possible because of all of the wonderful folks who have helped me.

You are welcome to use any of my photos for any purpose as long as you give proper credit. I only put up photos in the low res format prescribed by Find A Grave, but they are reduced from high res photos. If you need the high res version for your genealogical application, poster, document, etc., please ask me by private email.

RE: Margaret Jane Walkup
After doing some more research, I have found, as you mentioned, that some spell it one way and others spell it the other. So, I think we should leave it as you have it.

Thanks for your reply and for all your work in Find A Grave.

Have a great day!
Diane

Thank You
Yes, the Sarah Ann Pollock Hughart
that I linked her parents to her memorial page and Find A Grave added her name to her parents page James and Jane
Pollock. Is the Sarah in my family. Thank you for getting to my request so quickly. You might want to recheck
the date of death for James. My records say James Died: JUN. 15, 1880 Greenbrire Co. WV and that is the date on the photo you have posted on his memorial page

Charles Hutchins
James: I saw that you posted a photo of the grave of Charles Hutchins, Rainbow Memorial Gardens in Gadsden. Charles is a cousin of mine, I believe his mother was an aunt of my mother's. I have been trying to find out Charles's parents names.

I moved away in the early 60's and lost contact with many relatives, and am trying to locate them, and piece together some family history.

DO you have any information on Charles? All I know is he lived in the Rainbow City are, had a sister named Kay (b. about 1942/43, and grad'd from Etowah COunty HS.

I appreciate any information. contact me via email:
