I live in Plano, Tx. Most of my ancestors came to the Collin Co. area from Tennessee and Kentucky. My spouse's roots are in southwestern Virginia. Since I retired, I have been very interested in genealogy. I think Find-A-Grave is a great way to share information along with other internet sources. Please leave a public message or Email me for any corrections. If you Email me directly, please include Find-A-Grave in the subject line.|

It seems she might be in Knights Landing, CA cemetery. It is difficult to track down the guy with the plot book.
I found a person that has her in her family tree. I emailed her to see if she has that info. Her name is Megan Williams in case she replies to your email address.

I made the update to Jack Edgmon memorial. Are you related? Do you have any info on his wife Myrtle that you can create a memorial?

Lauvita Rice Memorial# 121049784
That is correct. No marker. The Office gave me the plot: FG-LG-123-2 and a plot map of Last Supper section. I compared the location with the bronze Millard marker (see Memorial# 29543300) on the right which was is LG-87. The plot map indicates Lauvita' plot LG-123-2 is next to it (west side) on the left, picture taken looking north. The overview is looking south. In order to aid requestors, I'll take a photo(s) of the site once the records and/or caretakers confirm a site. Hopefully, family members will collectively try to get some marker in place for Lauvita.

Thanks for adding their tombstone photos, etc. Sam & Laura are my cousin's g-grandparents. She is my husband's cousin, and she & I have been working together for a long time now trying to add memorials for her kin and ancestors. I promised to transfer them to you, but do you mind if I hold onto them a bit longer. I just subscribed to a newspaper that seems to have quite a bit of information from VA. I'm hoping to find a few articles to add to their memorials.
Thanks for adding John Porter's obituary.
