I've been doing genealogy for more years than I care to remember and all of my family knows that it has become an obsession. I love doing the research and finding new relatives. But I am not just a name collector I like to know if the person is related even if it is only distantly. My niece Jan Bean is helping me to add family members to this website. I really appreciate all of her help and support. I have added memorials that are not related and I am happy to do transfers of memorials that are not part of my family. PLEASE DO NOT ADD EXTRA HEADSTONE PHOTOS OR PHOTOS OF CERTIFICATES to my memorials, this leaves room for photos of the deceased within the five-photo limit on unsponsored memorials.|

If you will add the location of the grave of Milo Helmer, to your photo request, it will probably be fill before long. The location is A-114.

I've transferred the memorials to you. Even at distant cousin, you're more closely related than I am (no known connection to me).
Have a great day.

Sharon, I'm driving there right now and will probably leave tonight so it will be just a short visit. If I had time to visit a cemetery, I was just wondering which one would be best to take pictures.

Sharon, I see that you've done a lot of work documenting cemeteries in the Statesville area. I will be in the area and might have a chance to visit some cemeteries. Are there any there that need some work?

Article I happen to have --
Jesse Riggs -one of the oldest settlers of the county, died at his home southwest of BERWICK January 12, 1891, the result of injuries received about a week before. While he was helping drive several colts into the barn at his place one of them struck him and knocked him down on the frozen ground. Three of his ribs were broken, and the lining of his lungs was pierced by one of the bones. He was eighty-three years old and did not possess the strength to recover. His burial was in the cemetery at BERWICK.
Just thought if you didn't have this you might be interested in it.
