I'm sick and tired of the grief. I've deliberately pulled my personal contact info. |
I didn't join F-A-G to be a digital scape goat. I didn't join F-A-G to play mind games. Those who feel that everyone owes them something, please go whine elsewhere, I don't have time for it. Life's not perfect. It doesn't always go your way. Suck it up and get used to it. This website, as good as it is, for the purpose that it serves, has exhausted my give a damn.
The LDS' original idea of one huge tree that everyone doing genealogy could add their branch to, is closely represented here. I am amazed at over time, how some of the names for which I've searched, are finally finding their way to this site. Some with photographs. I love it, but am disappointed by the total disregard for other's feelings by some of the patrons here. This site is to commemorate people and pay tribute to who they were. It is NOT a competition for who manages the memorial, or a quest to make contributors lives miserable.
Many thanks to those who do not fit into any of the inferior categories listed above.
My photographs are free to use for NON profit as long as my embedded copyright is left in tact.

I like what you wrote in your bio, there are a lot of very rude people on here and they think their way is the only way to add memorials.

Thank you so much for posting the photo of his headstone. This is my great grand-father.
Thank you so much for taking the picture of Orrin Dickson's grave marker and posting it on his memorial page. Hopefully, this will help future family researchers.

I wanted to personally thank you for maintaining June Evelyn Maher-Marshall and Family's Memorials. Though I did not know June, she is my first cousin (once removed) through Esther (my grandmother's sister).
Would you mind if I upload your tombstone pics of the Marshall family to my dad's private ancestry.com family tree until I get over there to take pics myself? I plan on visiting the Houston area to take pics as I like to maintain my own database for him and his research. Unfortunately, he is not able to get out much anymore so I've taken over the helm.
If you are immediate family, I would love to converse with you as well regarding the family.
Kevin K. Slatten, Carriere/Pearl River County, MS
Maternal Grandson of Thressa E. Lewis, youngest sister to Esther Lavinia Lewis-Maher (Mother of June Evelyn Maher-Marshall).
