I have been searching for my family history for over 10 years I started when my father became ill with cancer and we knew he was not going to make it. He would sit and talk for hours about family members I had never heard of so as he talked I took notes and slowly begane my research. My only wish is that he could have lived to see how far that research has come. I hope at least one of my postings will help some one with there search.|
Any one interested in transfers of the Perry, James, Hoover, whitis and any related names please contact me as I am no longer working on there lines. I was working on them for a friend and co worker who past away and his family was not interested in any of the information I collected so will transfer any memorial you need.

|L Allison||Nathaniel Washington Laird|
I was delighted to find a portrait on ancestry.com of Keziah Laird Hardin and her husband. Looking closer I discovered that you were the one responsible for the find a grave entry below. I am hoping that because you are a Laird you might know if the man in the portrait is Nathaniel Washington Laird b 1816. I noticed Keziah was married twice.) He is my great grand uncle and I am interested to verify if this is actually him.
Thanks L Allison

I would appreciate anything you have on the Careys, Fosters, and McCrackens. They are all related as are the Slaughters
I have written a book (unpublished) about Joel and his family. It is not a bio as I have no way of knowing what his daily life was like. I simply wove a story based on the facts of his life.
