Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a learning specialist in private practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. My areas of focus include reading remediation, language processing, executive function and advocacy. When I'm not working with kids and their families, I am most likely in a cemetery working on photo requests!

If you are making a photo request, please see if there is an office onsite that can give you the plot location. Two of my favorite cemeteries are Acacia and Concordia...it can be difficult for volunteers to continually ask for locations, so please help us help you by getting all the information you can!

I also work on requests when I travel...yes, it's a rather addicting hobby!

I don't create many memorials, but if there is one you would like transferred, please let me know.

Find A Grave is an amazing site, and I'm so pleased to have met so many wonderful people here!

Chester and Mildred Kurko Siek et. al.
Hi! I've made the memorials for Chester and Mildred Kurko Siek, Mildred's brother Walter Thomas Kurko, and also Mildred's first cousin John Kurko, and his wife Mary Romaniak Kurko who are all buried in St. Nicholas. I remember you had at least the photos of Chester and Mildred Kurko Siek, so I thought I'd let you know before making requests, if you already have the photos! Thanks!!

Kaegebein Graves
Sherry - Thanks for posting the flower picture. I am a descendant of the Kaegebein family and I was there this past summer looking for the grave and like you could not find a stone. Looking at the family history the deaths were young and the son probably did not know what to do. Again thanks.

Spring yet?
Hi SheryG,

It looks to be a more typical winter. More frequent snow. Last year it was near 80 degrees. Doing indoor mausaleum locations until it gets drier and wormer outside. Adding plot information to the requests so we can choose to claim them.

Sincerely,

Algae

Figura, Bobula Monument
Dear Sherry:

Thank you so much for posting the photographs of headstones at St. Adalbert Cemetery for Zosia. I was so amazed to find the monument for my grandparents and great-grandparents on the website! Zosia must be related to the first husband of one of my grandmother's sisters.

I can give her information on this man (I know where he is REALLY buried!) and maybe she can help me with information on my ancestors as she is from the area where my grandparents were born. I am starting to correspond with her in Polish using Google Translate.

You are wonderful to help strangers out in this way. I will reciprocate by taking photos of monuments for others.

Margaret

Wow! this is great news for Jane(his sister) as she has not seen the gravesite. She will be going from Florida to see it this summer. Again, thanks!
