I can understand your reservation about doing so. I can also assure you that the man was not wrongfully accused. He went to trial, where I testified myself, and was found guilty of Murder in the 1st. He is currently incarcerated for the term of Life without Parole. The court transcripts can be found through public search with the Federal County Court in Des Moines, IA where the trial took place. His name is Roger D. Pegram. I'm sure newspaper.com would also have a record of it for December 19th/20th 1990 and the following early parts of the year of 1991 that covered the trial. Let me know if I need to dig up the proper links to attach.

Clio, Thank You for looking into this for me. I can not fathom how this tragedy happened if it was purely an accident or did the depression have something to do with it. I'm curious how you found that information. Am I missing a Website I should be looking into? Anyway thank you, for helping, I appreciate all you have done. Kathryn

Thank you I have almost linked this entire part of the family. It is awesome when people like you do this service for others.

Hi, Clio. No, I didn't know Katrina. She was a teacher at East High School in Kansas City. The picture is from my mother's yearbook.
I'm so glad I could share it with family. Best wishes, Suzanne
