My Find A Grave ID: MJ (#48192598)
I notice the memorial doesn't have a spouse listed, any chance you have information on the spose? I think this is my husband's ggg-grandfather. We are curious about his burial in SD.
Do you by chance know if there were any other family member in SD.
Thanks in advance for responding it is appreciated.

Thank you Bruce! Although the Boyer Family are about my 3rd cousins, I have traced my Crowell family line as much as I can and find it fascinating. Out of curiosity, did he ever tell you where his first name came from? It's not one you hear all the time and I was thinking maybe it was a family name. Thanks again!! RC

I would like your permission to use the photo you took of Ledru Boyer's grave stone in my family tree. Thank you for considering and for being a Find A Grave volunteer :) RC

Dear Bruce Braaten,
While snow bound, I have added a photo of William's obit. He is in my husband's family tree.
If you prefer to add it in the bio, I shall be glad to remove the photo upon request.

My sister Helen N told me she was going to get you some history about our family for you to add. Did she get it to you?
I am walking through the cemetery (Lands Lutheran Cemetery) as I have time, with the original records and recording the GPS coordinates on the Findagrave website, when clicking on the GPS link on a computer or whatever it will pull a Google map up with the grave location after I get them entered. I am also checking the dates and names, do I send you any corrections that need to be done? or send as an edit to the web site?
Hi Bruce this web site does support GPS!
In order to enter it you have to have the Find a Grave App on a smart phone or Ipad and use a wifi source like a phone hot spot or have a iPad with a data plan.
You just go to the grave you wish to mark and add GPS ( you could be off 20' possibly) but better than nothing. then when you click on a grave and click on the GPS concordances it brings up a map of where you are and where the grave is? It works fairly well.
