Genealogy and graving, are two of my many hobbies. I'm also a history buff.
I started recording cemeteries over 5 years ago
-- that's history and genealogy all rolled up into one. Walking cemeteries is also another way to get some exercise. Since I'm former military, I try and get photos of military gravestones.
I also try and help people find their ancestors in portions of Beaver and Washington counties, Pennsylvania; East Liverpool, Ohio and Chester, West Virginia.
I'm one of those genealogy search angels. If you are at that proverbial brickwall with your genealogy research in Beaver County, Pa., Hancock County, WV and/or Columbiana County, Ohio, I'll be glad to try and help in your search.
I also put abbreviated obits on FindAGrave that I see in the newspaper. If you see any errors or want to add something to any of my submissions, please let me know. If you want to make corrections to a memorial, please use the edit button on the memorial. I'll be able to get to the memorial and edit it a lot quicker going thru findagrave's system.
I'm also more than glad to transfer memorials to family members. Please include your member number.

Thank you for transferring Margaret's memorial to me. She is my grandma's paternal first cousin. Margaret's dad and my grandma's dad were brothers. Margaret's mother (my grandma's aunt by marriage) is also blood related to my grandmother and I, so Margaret is related in more ways than one to us. I've added her middle and maiden name and her complete birth and death dates. I am not sure if she died in New Cumberland, Steubenville, or elsewhere. Her obituary doesn't specify. I've also linked her to her parents' memorials, so all the children/siblings are all together now. Thank You! | | | Sandi K

You recently photographed the stone of my late mother's cousin Mrs Fanny Reich at the Bnei Yaakob cemetery.
As in between the time of my request and your photo my mother passed away, this photo means even more than I thought it would and I'm very grateful to you for doing so.

Hi My friend and I are also documenting cemeteries, concentrating on the Westmoreland county but also have gone over the line where allegeny, westmoreland, Washington and fayette lines are close. I would like to know if you have photographed all of rehoboth Cemetery in Belle Vernon as we do not want to duplicte work already done? My friend is currently doing Greensburg Catholic and I am photographing Monongahela we were jointly going to do Rehoboth but if you have already photographed it entirely we will choose another one.
