Find A Grave's mission is 'graves registration'. While the site is also a 'genealogical resource', it is not a site designed to record a family tree.
Please specify your relationship when requesting transfers. I am no longer transfering outside the Findagrave guidelines.
Due to the growing popularity of the website I have been getting multiple transfer requests for the same memorial from several different contributors. Trying to determine who should get the memorial is becoming difficult for me.
Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer.
I am always happy to make corrections and add links when asked.

 | Merle Hosack Jr Transfer Thank you for the transfer of Merle Hosack JR. I made a mistake and thought I was asking you to transfer Merle Hosack SR who IS my grandfather. Merle JR is Merle SR's son, my mother's brother, and my uncle. Merle Jr's widow is still kicking in Kansas at 85. She will be tickled pink that I have management of the memorial of Uncle Jr (what we called him). I'll ask Aunt Wanda for a nice bio and pictures and we'll deck it out for her. Thanks so much and I apologize for the technical error.
This is a strange: if I had not erroneously asked for management, I would not have thought about providing a bio and photos because of all the go-between efforts with the manager and my Aunt. So in twist of events, the memorial will be better served. This is truly a God send. Thank you! | | | Tunie

 | Marjorie Sue Akin Judy, I understand that you are no longer transferring memorials outside the Find A Grave guidelines but was hoping that you might make an exception for my niece's. Nobody else in the family has stepped up to the plate and her parents are gone now.
I would count it an honor to take care of her page. I am too far out of state to care for her grave and this would be my way of showing love for her and my sister's memory.
Respectfully yours, Tunie

 | Photographs Thank you for all your contributions to Find A Grave. May I include copies of your gravestone photographs in my family tree at Ancestry? I will credit you as the photographer. Thanks. | | | Loneta Boyer
 | Mrs Beeson I am looking for the grave of Nancy Middleton, who died in 1900. She married William Carroll Beeson. He died in California in 1926 I believe, but she died in Pottawamie County in 1920--the record that I have says she died in Earlsboro, but I am not certain if that is accurate. She was born in 1856, and was about 44 when she died. I am related only through her stepfather who married her mother after her father and brother were murdered by bushwhakers in the civil war. If I can locate her grave, I would like to connect her with family and give you some of her story to add to her memorial. I am not certain that this is the correct Mrs Beeson, just hoping that you know more about who is buried in the grave memorial 19231240. Thanks, Loneta Boyer | | | John R. Braden

 | Jacob Braden Judy, I hate to keep bothering you but I can't quite connect Jacob to others. There are four Bradens shown in this same cemetery but he is in another section. The others in D and he in SS. Do you have any other info on him--Parents, wife, siblings, etc.? The others are all relatives of mine. Thanks.
