I began researching my own heritage in 1975 (ALL of my great-grandparents came to the US from various parts of Germany). In 1984 I began researching my husband Dave's ancestry and my "Great Obsession" was born. We love to assist others and we have taken several thousand gravestone photos which we upload to my personal Web pages. If you have Central Ohio (Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties) family or ancestors their gravestones might appear on my pages: www.genealogybug.net/Franklin_Cemeteries/index.html.|
Please take a minute to visit the memorial page for our nephew, Sgt. Grant Arthur Wichmann. He paid the ultimate price in the War on Terrorism.
If I manage a memorial and it's not a member of our extended family I will be happy to transfer it. Please follow Find a Grave procedure when requesting a transfer.

Thanks Leona, for the permission to use your photo.
Would you mind if I used your photo of the gravestone for Frank Preston Jay on my ancestry.com family tree, with attribution to you and Find a Grave? Thanks very much for your consideration. Gwen

|Linda Smith||Feeble Minded Cemetery|
Leona, I checked your website and did not find a relative listed that I believe may be buried at the Feeble Minded cemetery.
The name is Joseph J. Blenkhorn born abt. 1901.
Last known documentation of him is a 1920 census record in Cuyahoga Co.
Parents names Henry Z. and Lucy Cooley Blenkhorn from Dover, now Westlake,Ohio in Cuyahoga Co.
Joseph had a brother that was also at the institution for awhile by the name of Henry H. Blenkhorn.

Thank you so much for fullfilling my request for a photo.
|Linda Smith||York Cemetery|
My name is Linda Smith and at one time I was a member of the Union Co. Genealogical Society. Today I went to York Cemetery to fulfill the requests that I had claimed. I was not very successful. I got on line and that is when I came across your website! Now I understand why you are able to fulfill the requests so efficiently! I am amazed! I have a lot to learn.

Thanks for taking the photo of the grave of John W. LAYLANDER, 70319843. He was in Co K, 120th OVI. I have been researching the 120th Ohio Volunteer Infantry for the last 13 yrs in order to identify the men and tell about their lives. I would like permission to use your photos on my site and on any CD or print copy of my research that I will give to the Wayne County library in Wooster OH. I always give credit for the photos.
Thanks for any help.

Are you by any chance related to this family since you put a personal picture on the Find A Grave site.
|Mike Gillett||Thank you!|
I certainly appreciate your photo of Jehu Gray's stone. Since the grass is green, I guess you've had that picture for a bit! Thanks again!

Thanks you so much for fulfilling my request. Marybelle (my husband's great aunt) was the only sibling that I didn't have completed in his grandmother's line. Find-a-grave volunteers can't possibly know how much they are appreciated. You gave me something I could not get myself and may never have.

Thank you taking the time and trouble to photograph their gravestone for me. I really appreciate it.
