I originally began cemetery searching for my own quest of answers within my family tree. When I came across Find a Grave I thought, how wonderful to be able to help others and to get help in cemeteries not easily accessible.

As time has passed, I find this is the perfect way to distress and get in touch with nature. While searching for elusive relatives and pieces to others family puzzles, I've found a calm like no other. In more recent years I've photographed as many animals, flowers, and trees as I have headstones while in cemeteries. I grew up with a blind grandmother and have learned not to take sight for granted…what a precious gift to be able to see all the beauty in this world.
