Hi I have Lydia's (Find a grave #97773900) maiden name as "Overholser", dau of Joseph Overholser and Anna Burkett. I am wondering where you got her maiden name?? I find it interesting because my lineage has Overholser and Bashor(e) in it. Thanks! Debbie # 47483956

I would like your permission to copy this gravestone photo to my Ancestry Family Tree. Edmond's second wife was Dora Biggs Hahn (in my tree). I will credit you as the source.

|Linda Campbell||Gearheart aka Sheets Cemetery Published Info|
Hi - My name is Linda Campbell. I am the co-chair with Sharon Maingi on the committee for the restoration of the Elizabeth Township Cemeteries, Miami County, Ohio.
The information on line you posted is not in Piqua Ohio. The cemetery is in Section 33, south side of Knoop Road which you may know as there are pictures of the entrance to the walled cemetery.
There is now a home built adjacent to the cemetery and the owners have been mowing it. We are hoping to have it restored but have been told that the ancestors of the Gearheart family are the actual owners....this from the Elizabeth Township Trustees at a meeting in 2011.
We as a historical society still plan to have this cemetery restored either through the Trustees, the family that we can find or by fund raising for the project.
Just wanted to let you know that this cemetery will not be found in or near Piqua. If there were an address, it would be Troy, Ohio.
Thank you, Linda Campbell
|JVicory||RE: John W. Vicory Marriages/families|
Thanks so much for the information. I assumed that John and Etta divorced at some point by the ages of the children provided on Find A Grave but have been unable to find a legal record confirming this. Of course records at this time aren't always complete. I appreciate any information you can provide. I just want to make sure I get the right mother with the right children going forward and it appears that Albert's mom is indeed Etta M Wise.

|JVicory||John W. Vicory Marriages/families|
Hi Marita--I am doing some research for my husband's Vicory family out of Dayton, Ohio. I appreciate the research you have done for John W. Vicory and his wives and children. However, I am confused as to the dissolution and order of the marriages. My husband descends from Albert Vicory, son of John and Etta Wise Lutz Vicory. Did their marriage end in divorce? I assume John married Lulu Shinkle following the end of the marriage to Etta and I assume it was divorce since John died just a year after Etta. I am also curious if you know when Etta Wise's marriage to "Lutz" took place. I haven't come across any children named Lutz in her tree. Any info you can provide as to the order of marriages is appreciated. I have made note of the various mothers and children from your research with Find A Grave. It is greatly appreciated!

|Lynn Marie Vint||McDonald family in Calhoun County, Illinois|
I know you have done extensive research on the McDonald family in Calhoun County, Illinois. I thought you might be a good person to ask about a question regarding the McDonald family that another Find A Grave contributor brought to me.
Do you have any information on John William McDonald, Sr. and his wife, Clarissa Reeves in your files? They lived in Calhoun County and probably Lincoln County, Missouri as well. Any marriage date or place for them? Death/burial date or place? Their children were born from 1876 to 1891. Both John William and Clarissa McDonald seem to have passed away before 1900.
The person who wrote to me also asked if I had any information regarding what happened to the mother of Clarissa Reeves McDonald. I know that may be outside your line of interest, but thought you might have come across something in your studies.
Thanks so much for any help or suggestions you may be able to provide!
