Bio and Links
Bio Photo I retired from the US Navy as a CAPT after 24 years service in 1997. My husband also retired from the USN as a CDR after 20 years service. I became interested in genealogy shortly thereafter, and have been searching for my families since.
Most of my families are in SE OH and E PA. Most of my memorials are for these families, so I'm generally not open to transferring them, though I have transferred on some occasions.
I love sharing/comparing information, and would love to hear from anyone who finds my postings on this site helpful.

The data you sent was for his wife! Not for Christopher. :-(

Transfer complete. I am related to the Snyder family. Her husband's mother was a Snyder.
Two of William's cousins also married Dinkelackers Minnie and Blanche Walp.

Sharon,
WOW! You are fast! Thank you so much. She was my great-great grandmother. You are appreciated. I live in Belmont Co. Ohio, let me know if there is anything I can help you with in my area.

Thanks! I made the correction. Can't believe I had his grandmother listed as his mother. I don't know how I did that.

Aunt Adeline was the grandchild of John Jacob and Harriet Turner Geddings (maternal). All of that information is available on my ancestry.com Family Tree page. I do not use Find-a-Grave for detailed postings since it was not designed for that purpose.

RE: Northada Nevada Ashton Myers
The Rueben Ashton family on ancestry is where I found the apr 16 date as Northada's date of death.

This was published in the Wheeling register:

Wheeling Register - Apr 19, 1894 - The remains of Mrs. Wm. Myers, late of Boggs Run, who died after a day's illness, were buried yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mt. Olivette. The funeral was the largest ever seen in that locality, there being over sixty vehicles in the funeral cortege."

This article plus the Ashton family record leads me to think Nanny's real time of death was April 16,1894. Not Oct 16, 1894. I will keep you informed.

Northada Nevada Ashton Myers
Hi Sharon, Just found Northada's pic on "Find a Grave".

William A Myers was my Great Grandfather, Cora and Bess were aunts. I remember them but, unfortunately, neglected to ask them about family while they were alive.

Have been researching Myers family for about 6 months. The date of death for Northada is on all records as October13,1894.
Wm A Myers remarried in August of that same year, The scoundrel, and I have been trying until recently to find a correct date for her passing. Located a date of April 16,1894 which makes sense .
Within a few weeks I plan to visit the Marshall Co Library and get some verification of either date. I will contact you with that date through Find a GRAVE .

Thanks
G Myers
