In the event of the same memorial listed twice on the same day, please refer to the MEMORIAL number. The lowest MEMORIAL # was the one added first, with the highest MEMORIAL # being the duplicate.*|

Full time Student, so I'm very very busy and I'm slower with edits than usual. I'm knocking out the oldest edit's/SAC's and transfers a few at a time, while trying to keep the newest ones updated, too. Thank you all for your patience. You guys are the best!
Please be respectful in understanding that not all suggestions are necessary. In addition, all suggestions are subject to verification.
Military ranks are included in the name title when the full rank is among the choices in the drop down menu. Example: Sgt 1st Class should not be listed as Sgt; 2nd Lt should not be listed as Lt., and so on. If the full rank name cannot be placed in the title (as I wish they could be) then the full rank will always be in bio section.
On the other hand, I will gladly accept any pertinent information you submit. (citing source)
Please use the "Edit" feature to submit corrections. I'm far too busy to look for memorials, so that method helps to expedite your request. Thanks.
Need a memorial transfer? You'll need to use the edit feature on the memorial in question. Please allow 30 days.
Corrections and Transfer request submitted on this page will be ignored.

I have found a marriage certificate for Sallie Mae Pierce and her first husband.
His name is Isaac Parker, he died 18 Nov 1916. He and Sallie must have divorced because he was married to another lady at the time of his death.

Ms Reed, I am curious. Are you an employee of arlington cemetery? Whether you are or not, I want you to know that when our family lost my husband, so tragically and unexpectedly...we felt that our privacy was violated on so many levels. Still we held our head high. Media, people posing as friends, even extended family members did this, sometimes not intending to do so but nonetheless it was done. As my children and I planned a trip to my husbands resting place I came on line to see if his headstone had been placed yet, only to find your photos, some that were very personal and private. This makes the healing process very difficult, because it makes me bitter. And it angers my children, they can't even begin to heal because EVERYONE wants their "say", and usually without asking our permission which is the part that makes it a gross violation. I try very hard to not allow others insensitivities make me bitter, because bitterness will only consume me, but in this case I again it is difficult. Just know I do NOT give permission for my husbands photos to be on your site and I am not pleased that our personal photos once again have been exploited without our permission. Smh...when you experience a loss of this nature maybe THEN you will understand the importance of the respect or in this case, the lack of.
My husband is related to the Shermans. His great grandmother was Katie Sherman. He is also related to the Watsons since some of them married Shermans. We went to Atkinson to find the Sherman Cemetery but had no luck. Is it on private land? Please send physical address for the cemetery if you have it. Thanks.

Hi Elizabeth, I've sent you a couple of transfer requests through the edits but haven't heard anything. If possible could you please transfer memorial to me? I am a friend of his mother and would like to maintain his memorial for her. If she decides to join F A G in the future, I will transfer him to her. Thanks, Rose

Hello. I've been photographing BG Doyle and came across Nicholas Ott's marker for the memorial you created. I cannot post the photo as the maximum number of photos are already on there. If you would like me to email it to you, please leave me a message on my member page. I'll keep it on file for a couple of months. What a wonderful young man he seemed to be. His sacrifice is not forgotten. Warm regards.
