Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a passion we share, to honor and serve not only our fathers, who were both in the military, but to all who served our great nation. We love researching our family backgrounds and enjoy helping others who are looking for a lost loved one or to begin tracing their own roots. We are blessed to live in a country where we are free to pursue our goals and believe strongly that we should honor and protect the integrity and dignity of those who keep the wolf from our doors each and every night.

That having been said: PLEASE, PLEASE don't leave change or transfer requests on our message board. It's extremely difficult to keep up with these types of requests and we miss most of them. Requests should be made with the edit button on the top, right side of the memorial (just above the decedents' photo or the cemetery photo). Most changes and/or transfers that are made in this fashion, are usually always filled within the next few days. If your request isn't made through the edit button, will likely go unchanged.

Sallie High 126460196
Per their Texas Death Certificate, this person is buried in the Mount Olivet Cemetery (aka Garden of Memories) in Tarrant County TX. There is a memorial in that cemetery for her with a photo of the same gravestone. That memorial number is 112878757.

Evidently this memorial in Parker County is in correct. Her husband is also buried in Mount Olivet. Somehow his memorial there has been merged with the Parker County memorial which should not have happened.

In other words, this memorial for Sallie High should be deleted as should William C High's memorial in this cemetery. Then his should be recreated in the Mount Olivet Cemetery (again aka Garden of Memories).

I also sent this message by the Edit tab.

Thanks,
Joe Spears

Ole & Ann Beacham
Hi Ann,

I took pics of Ole & Ann's headstone. Because of mud, etc, they are hard to see. They are, also, on the same stone with a mounted vase with flowers in the middle. I took one pic of whole stone. It is not clear because I had to get so far away. I took individual pics of each side. I will load Ole Beacham. If you are interested in Ann, let me know.

Have a nice day!

Kathy

RE: George & Georgia Vines
Not a problem at all - my family names in the Sardis Cemetery is Anderson, Fox, Colton (all the Coltons and Anderson's).

I know how much I appreciate it when my family's memorials are transferred over to me. Yes, even though I live in SE Texas, most of my family roots are deep in SW Louisiana. I also have family in the Noble cemetery, Kegley's, Colton's, Ryals, Britts, as well as Vines and Touchton's. My great aunt Amanda Colton was married to a Norris Vines - so who knows we may be related ourselves somewhere way down the line.....

Sincerely, Becky

George & Georgia Vines
Hello Ann - just wanted to say sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your request, but things have been wild around here lately......but I've transferred the ownership of the Vines' memorials over to you. Many of my ancestors are also buried in the cemetery and it's an honor to transfer your loved ones over to you. If there is anything else you need, just let me know. Thanks also for all your hard work maintaining these memorials.

Sincerely, Becky Creel Wilcox
