|Texasnmyheart||Clyde Curry Elam|
Noticed you had posted a photo of Clyde on his memorial and was wondering if you're related. If so and it's within the parameters of Find-a-grave "rules", please let me know and I'd be happy to transfer his memorial to you. I am related to his wife. She was my great grand aunt.
|Charles Franz||Clyde Nelson Hamilton.|
Here is why I emailed you.
I found a military style head stone in the Bandera Cemetery with the following inscription:
Clyde Nelson Hamilton
U. S. Marine Corp
June 22, 1928
July 12, 2007
Here is a copy and paste from the obit on Find A Grave:
"The only child of Floyd Hamilton and Nina Belle Hand Hamilton, Nelson graduated from Bandera High School in 1946.
He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Marine Corps. In July 1948, he became a corporal, making sergeant a year later."
If he graduated from H.S. in 1946, how did he serve in a war that ended 2 Sept. 1945?
Please let me know if you want a pic of the headstone,
|Charles Franz||Nelson Hamilton|
Was his name Clyde Nelson Hamilton, or just Nelson Hamilton?

Please add Find A Grave Memorial# 18114522
Rebecca Edna Massingill Glenn as a member of the family belonging to Maud Edna Varner & Benjamin Wiley Massingill .
I'm doing research for the Glenn family. She was a homicide victim and is buried with her family rather than her husband's.
thanks for any help

You're welcome. We were going to Mason & love old cemeteries, so looked up requests before visiting
Mason, Texas. I was glad we could find it without any plot maps.

I have added some more headstones for the Beyer and Hey families.
|Ed Kosary||Buck family|
I filled your requests yesterday for Mr. And Mrs. Buck yesterday at Grand view Cemetery on Pasadena.
We are visiting family in the area and did a visit there to my partners grandparents graves.
Today we were in Humble, TX at Roselawn Cemetery to visit his mothers grave. Near her grave was the graves of Grisby Orin (1904-1977) & Mattie Louis (1907-2000) Buck are these relatives of yours? Right now there is no memorial created for them( I will be doing that soon), I photo'd their headstone to on the off change they might be part of your family tree research. If they are I will be more them happy to either transfer the memorials to you after creating them or emailing you the photo so you can create memorials. They are buried in Rosewood Cemetery, Humble,TX (Harris County)

Is it Mark? or Maria?
I didn't really notice a scratch on the stone, unless you are talking about that mark by the date. I think that is discoloration & there was some near the top also. I tried to rub it off, but no luck. The stone was covered in a lot of dirt that had to be cleaned off. It's on a hill where dirt can run down onto it.
Are you related to Clyde Elam or to the Sherrills? If so would like to talk with you.
