|Retirement has let me really work on my genealogy research. My concentration is families in Titus and Franklin Counties. Families are so intermingled in these counties through marriage. Really trying to ensure all cemeteries in these counties are in Find-a-grave. I love when other researchers provide me with new information. Just ask and I will try and help you whenever possible.|

Charles Walter Bowden and Artie Lee Bowden
They are my husband's Great grandparents.
I have their death certificates and made a few changes on their places of birth and death and a birthday for Artie.
I did it on edit...should have sent you the info and you could have changed them.

Thank you so much for editing Charles Douglas Martin's obit.

Hi, I'm Jean Martin. My husband is John Ronald Martin, a great-grandson of Charles Douglas Martin. This weekend we were privileged to visit with Margaret Martin, one of his grandchildren. She informed us that he and Margaret Rogers were never divorced, and that he was never married to Lenore Newman. She does not know who this woman is.
Also, he had another daughter, Lular (21 Mar 1883-6 Oct 1915).
If possible, would you please correct your information for Charles Douglas Martin.

|j*||Charles Douglas Martin vs. Charles Desoto Martin|
Jean Martin, Find-A-Grave member, provided further information re: both of these Charles D. Martins:
Charles Douglas Martin # 58423554
Charles Desoto Martin # 64428014
Apparently, I had requested links to the incorrect C. D. Martin.
I've attempted to correct these links / info changes through the corrections tab, today. Charles Desoto Martin was nicknamed "Sope" and he was the C. D. Martin that Lenora Onanna Newman married. They married in 1896 and she died in childbirth in 1897.
I apologize for the re-corrections. Please let me know if you have questions when making the adjustments.
THANKS, as ALWAYS, for YOUR HELP, DEAR! :) Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!! :)

|Jim Harvey||Some of your pending edits|
Howard, I have seen some of your pending edits of memorials created by Harrell Huffman. You will probably have a very long wait. Harrell is my cousin, 92 years old and in bad health. He and his wife just moved to Kingwood into an assisted living facility closer to their family.
I have requested Find A Grave to transfer some of his memorials to me but have not heard anything back. Since I did that, one of my edits of Harrell's memorial has been accepted but it took over 2 months for that to happen.
Just thought I would give you a heads up.
|Kim & Dana Grissom||Thanks|
Thank you for the lovely photo of Martha Jane Harvey Opry headstone.

Hi Howard. THANK YOU for all your hard work. You and other volunteers are the people who really make genealogy possible!! :)
Regarding the memorial for Jane Atchison, #159454237, please correct her relationship to Blunt Atchison. Per her TX death certificate, Blunt Atchison was her father, Laura Ainsworth was her mother, Jane was single, and was born 7-12-1893. This was reporting by Jane's older sister, Della (Atchison) Brown. Here's a link to the death cert on Ancestry.com: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=2272&h=22803016&ssrc=pt&tid=64937602&pid=34522675314&usePUB=true.
Again, THANK YOU for all your hard work and your loving contribution to the genealogy community! :)
