I was born and raised in Clear Creek Township, Huntington County, Indiana. I have been gathering information on the Eckman, Fine, Lahr, Shultz, Sloniker, Whitestine, and Winebrenner families since the early 1980s. My family file currently contains over 25,300 names and continues to grow.|
PHOTO CREDIT: You may use the tombstone photos that I have posted to memorials if you will cite this source statement: "This photo was taken by Find A Grave contributor Indiana Bill who posted it to Find A Grave memorial ##########." To use my tombstone photos without this citation violates U.S. copyright law, Find A Grave guidelines, and misleads others into believing that you were the photographer. Please do not use any of my person or family photos without first asking permission to do so.
TRANSFERS: Transfers will be happily made if they are direct-line relatives--your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. Please request qualifying transfers by using the memorial's Edit tab and the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link. Your relationship to the person involved must be included in the transfer request. Please do not use a Public Message for a transfer request.
For persons outside the transfer guidelines, please use the Edit tab on their memorial to submit any corrections or additions using the links found there. I will gladly consider adding information to a person's Bio field or Note field if you will send the information using the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link.
FLOWERS: Find A Grave guidelines specifically state that biographic and obituary information should not be included in Flowers. I will gladly add biographic and obituary information if you will send it to me by using the Edit tab and clicking "Suggest any other correction or addition". Please omit the names of living persons when sending biographic or obituary information.
OBITUARIES: Please do not add photos of obituaries to my memorials as it violates Find A Grave guidelines if names of living persons are listed in the obituary. If you send the obituary information to me in typed form using the Edit tab, please note that I will edit out the names of living persons to protect their privacy. In some cases, I may be able to determine if a person listed as a survivor is now deceased, but if I cannot, their name will be edited out. Please include the source of the obituary information.
ADDITIONS & CORRECTIONS: Updating names, dates, places, and parent/spouse links, etc. is now easier than ever under the new edit system. Before sending an edit for any of these items, however, please double-check your research to be sure that the information you are sending is accurate. If you do not have reliable sources that confirm the data, please don't send the edit.
DUPLICATES & CORRECTIONS: I make every effort to avoid duplicating memorials and to provide accurate data in my memorials. If you spot a duplication or an error, please tell me so I can remedy the situation. If you have an error correction for a memorial, simply use the Edit tab on the memorial and choose the appropriate item for entering the correction. If you are notifying me of a duplication, be sure to use the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link under the Edit tab.
PUBLIC MESSAGES: If you send me a public message about a specific memorial, please be sure to include the memorial number in your message.
NOTICE: I'm sorry, but I will not consider updates, corrections, additions, or notice of duplication, etc. from "visitors" who are not members of Find A Grave or are members but are not logged in.

Hi, I just posted edits for Anna Maria Meyer Carstens 70996576, she was born in Langwedel, Hannover, Germany and died in Lowell, Indiana. Also I'm not sure if you have her and Hago Anton Carstens wedding date it's Jan 1861. I also linked 3 of their small children to them. It's believed they had a set of twins and their was one unnamed child.

Thank you for the edit and very nice photo of her headstone.

Thank you for your reply!

I'm wondering if your marker photo of Blanche McGhee in Lowell Memorial Cemetery, Lowell, Lake, Indiana (1917-1953)
is one of your researched family or if you just posted the photo?
I am searching for family of Blanche McGhee (father MITCH and mother WALTZ)

Thank you so much. I am trying to find out more about him, but so far all I can come up with is his birthday and date of death. My name at birth was George Stuart Howard Yardley II. Don't know where that came from. Might have been my grandfather's name, but I am having difficulty finding more about it.
I believe that this is a picture of my father's grave. He died when I was 2 years old in 1955, and I have only seen his grave once. My mother took me there over 40 years ago. Wasn't sure I would ever find it. With your permission, I would like to save a copy of the image. Someday, I hope to get to visit it. Can you give me guidance on how I would find it when I get there?

I am hoping that you could make a correction to
Lester Page's memorial. He was married first to Lonnie Staads (157039849) then to Doris Jean Hays Bennett Page (68256616). Thank you

Thank you for sending the info, I have added it to her memorial.
Let me know if you want a transfer.
Take care and have a good weekend!
|Gene ||Dr. William C. Farrington|
My research shows a William Comstock Farrington born 24 April 1811 in Chesterfield, NH.... to Dr. George Farrington. His brother, also a doctor is buried in Hobart, Indiana (Dr. John Follett Farrington).
You list Dr. Farrington being born in Connecticut. Does that have a citation, or could this be the same person born in NH?

Thanks. I am a distant cousin and found a family Bible relating to that line in my family and trying to find someone to send it to. Thanks for the prompt response. I grew up in Noble County, IN and now live in FL
