Dickey family
Good morning,

I noticed you had a message from N. Dickey Atherton concerning the Dickey family in Barren County, Kentucky.

My Dickey family is from the Barren County area also.

I would love to hear from you to see if we have a connection or if you can help me locate some info on my family.

Thank you so very much,

Merry Christmas,

Karen Dickey Kleinberg
Farmington, MO

Not sure how you know my uncle's middle name. I'm not going to change it until you tell me a source. I never could find that information. Thanks! - Dan Geister

Change management
Hello. Could you please change management for John Loehr # 118241152 to me. I am a great great grandson of Johann ( John) Loehr. I have quite a bit of info about him and would like to write an extensive bio. I do not however have any pictures to add to the memorial. Thank you. Garry Irwin Loehr muenster Saskatchewan.

RE: Giever
Thanks for moving them. You've got it right, Holy Cross was German and Calvary English-speaking. Nowadays, they are both managed by the same cemetery association and the ethnic distinctions don't really exist for current burials.

RE: Giever
If you don't already know, Calvary and Holy Cross are next to each other. There's no fence or anything to mark the border, so it can be confusing. Calvary is on the east, Holy Cross on the west.

I photographed about 600 graves at the southwest corner of Holy Cross (the section farthest from Calvary) last year, which is where the Scholzen family is buried. I accidentally created duplicate memorials at the time, which I have deleted, because your memorials are in Calvary.

Thanks Barb. I thought that it might be near his son. Your information was a great help. Will go again maybe in November and search again.

Joseph Kilpatrick
Hi BJ, My great grandfather is Joseph Kilpatrick. He was born 12 Jan 1828 and died in 1880. I found him on find a grave and it shows a picture of his tombstone. I visited the cemetery Old Ledford Chapel Cemetery on Jack Rabbit Rd. in Clay County NC. I had a printed out copy of his record of being buried there which included the picture of his tombstone. I was unable to find his actual grave. Is there a plat or map that shows the graves in this cemetery? Since his tombstone is flat I am wondering if it has just been covered over. If there is a plat or map I would love to have access to it. Thanks for all your assistance. Dayle Kilpatrick Perry
