Bio and Links
Bio Photo I want to thank everyone involved on find a grave, that have spend countless hours researching, walking up and down sections of the cemetery and sometimes even crawling under bushes just to create memorials, post headstone pictures and give as much details to help others locate loved ones that have passed on, that some of the family doesn't even know where they are buried or if there is even a memorial at a cemetery for that person.

Often I find myself out at a cemetery to clean a family member's headstone or located a loved one and look around at the countless thousands of graves or memorials in the cemetery and can almost feel their spirits saying don't forget about me and I end up spending hours more at the cemetery photographing their headstone as well. Hoping it might help someone else in the process of their family research.

I don't mind anyone using any photograph of a headstone that I have taken, but please give credit to the Find A Grave memorial and post the cemetery, find a grave memorial number as much details as you can, so that others that might come across that picture of the headstone might or will be able to locate or have some idea of where that person is buried.

Any personal picture of my family that I have uploaded to find a grave, please ask my permission before using.

Every little bit of information helps and I try to process any suggestions, corrections or transfer of any memorial as fast as I can, so please use the edit tab to make corrections or if you are requesting transfers, just let me know how you are related to them.

RE: Katharina B Banner Hotop
Thanks! Liberty is now known as Stitzer, so you may be able to add it under that. It's not a big deal, so you can leave it as Liberty if you like. Thanks for taking the time with this!

I also suggested links to her parents' Find a Grave pages and added a photo. Thanks

Find A Grave Memorial# 143919848
Thanks for adding this memorial! I have been searching for Katherine, my 2nd great grand aunt, for awhile. I wanted to give you additional information. Her maiden name was Benner and she was born in Liberty, but in Grant County, WI. I appreciate the gravestone photo and the obituary. Thanks for you work! Kelly

I also have the memorial for the man that was with Paul when they were lost at sea. Tony Shell I believe was his name but he didn't have a memorial on find a grave. Are you related or friends in some way? I can email the other man's Fisherman's memorial to you if you like.

I was on vacation in Newport Oregon. There is an RV park we stayed at near the port with a Fisherman's Memorial Walk near the water. The names of all the fisherman either lost or died at sea were all cemented into the sidewalks. He was one of them with the name of the vessel he was on at the time he died. I took a load of the individual memorials on the walk ( by far not all of them) and upon returning home looked to see if they had memorials already and posted. If they matched up I tried to place them on their memorials also. Not all of the people I could match up but his was easy.

Hi John,

You're very welcome. I'm glad I can help out. I have moved the photos and deleted my dupe's.

So sorry John! I saw you transferred the memorial back to me so I deleted it, then read your messages. I messed up! Sorry. Hope you can get another photo since I don't keep copies after I put them on the memorial. Diane

Hi again John, I should have read your 2nd email before I acted on your first one. I don't think you can delete the one I just transferred to you but you can try (I think you have to go through Find A Grave to do it). But another thing we can try is if you just transfer it back to me then I will delete it. Does that sound ok to you? Thanks, Diane

John, Sorry I was delayed transferring this memorial to you--been out of town. Bertha's stone is most definitely at Cypress because I took the photo there. Wish you the best, Diane
