Bio and Links
Bio Photo Attempting to provide accurate, complete memorials for those interested in their family history. A significant amount of my research posted on this site is from NEHGS.

If you have any information on any of these memorials, please let me know. I will gladly add biographies, obituaries, link families, etc.

Every life really does have a story, and the more information on a memorial, the better. Our ancestors should be memorialized by more than just a birth year and death year, this is a great site to tell their stories.

"Show me your cemeteries and I will tell you what kind of people you have." - Benjamin Franklin

Thank you for all your kind notes via e-mail and messages, it is rewarding to know that my research has helped you.

www.fultonhistory.com is a good place to start looking for information on your New York ancestors.

RE: Kent / Walworth Cemetery
Hi Robi,

Glad to help out. I know about brick walls.
I searched for my 4th great-grandmother for
28 years before I found her.

Enjoy your research!

Best,
Max

RE: Kent Family in Wayne County, New York
Robi, thank you for your kind, encouraging remark. Your gratitude
and that of so many others is a prime mover of what I do. Without
it, I would have looked for other avenues on which to go to help
people. This is a great avocation albeit a lonely one

RE: Kent
Thank you very much. Good photos is what I aim for every time. It
is now possible to photograph stones in the woods and the dark
side of monuments with the mirror

RE: Kent
You are certainly most welcome, Robi. They were there and I always
photograph every name. I looked for Henry & Lucy to no avail. I see
that Lawrence was killed when he and his son attempted to cross a
railroad track. His son survived. I cannot find an obituary or a listing
in area cemeteries though so I am unable to locate his grave. He is
not in East Pal cemetery or Newark or Port Gibson or Marion. I have
several more Kents in Walworth and I will post the photos for you

Thank you for your uplifting words

RE: Kent
You are very welcome! Thank you for the kind words. I had
to utilize the propped mirror for James & Sarah's side. There's
a fourth side: Sanford Hall and wife Laura K and daughter Alla
K Hall. I am sure the K stands for Kent. This was the N side
and therefore was in the dark and so I lit it up with the mirror
Laura and Alla are not as well etched as Sanford

God Bless,
Paul

I added the info about his death being after 1920. That is the best we can enter at this point. Thanks for that info.....Diane
