I thought I would reply today as my mother in law was buried yesterday and before anyone could put her on this site a stranger had. It is not a problem I have with you or any other member here but simply that a family descendant should be allowed to manage their ancestor's memorials. If I originate one of my family members but a direct descendant requests the same from me, I will transfer the memorial. I am not here for the goal of being the first with the most memorials.
OK, now to explain my post to you. I had attempt both here and directly to your email some time ago to request the Startz Family members you had in the Cranes Mill Cemetery. You either did not or would not respond. I did the only thing I was able too, I made duplicate memorials with my family photos and information. Those were the photos which I was talking about as well as information. The photos are copyrighted. Anyway, I discovered that my memorials were merged with those you would not release to my management as well as my images were now under your management.
I talked to Find A Grave and they removed the images before you responded finally. So, in regard to merging, it was Find A Grave not you.
I do not mind family members obtaining these images using a right click or even contacting me for a free high resolution file, I have over 4,000 images and 10,000 files of document history pertaining to rural Comal County families..
I would ask again that I be allowed to maintain the Startz family members which you have as my maintenance takes nothing away from your count of memorials added to Find A Grave. I assure you if I had any Pieper, I would transfer them to you immediately upon your request. Thank you, Bryan

I did see the memorial was marked as a pre-planned. Per Find A Grave guidelines, contributors are asked to "avoid" establishing memorials for people who are still living. Find A Grave guidelines also state these memorials will be removed upon request. Again, I am asking you to delete the memorial as my friend is still living. Thank you for your understanding.

Oh, groan, hello Laurie! I have duplicated your memorial for W.P. Hudson your memorial # 59571994 and M.R. Hudson your memorial # 59571977, my memorial #'s 74978322 and 74977965 because I thought they were buried in Blanco cemetery. I need to transfer their memorials to you so you can delete yours. My memorials have all of the links for the children, spouses, etc. Can you take care of their memorials for me?
Please let me know. I'd appreciate your help!

Thank you Laurie, and thanks again for what you are doing in this site.
Are you a cousin to Rick Pieper? He is a friend of my son (in Grand Island). We were discussing Findagrave and your name came up.
