If I removed the cemetery photo on #152768857, I didn't do it on purpose. I
certainly appreciate the photo. Judy

Do you have any Fletcher information by chance? I descend from my 3rd great-grandmother, Kiturah Ann Fletcher White #50298934, whose aunt was Dully Elkins Fletcher. I'm researching both Kiturah and her husband, Martin. I'm also tying in Elmaza Jane Fletcher to her husband's family, Samuel Boone (Thomas, Squire III, Samuel, Squire, Sr.) and their descendants. After Elmaza and Samuel had 6 boys, she passed away, he remarried and emigrated with his family to Independence/Odessa, Missouri from Montgomery County, Kentucky.

I'm also trying to find all members of the "Long Nine," in Illinois. A William F. Elkins was also part of that group. The "Long Nine" were a group of guys in the Illinois State Legislature who were taller than average Joe, such as Abe Lincoln. During my research of my 3rd great-grandfather, I've notice many connections/ties from his home state of Kentucky to the other states he has lived in -- Illinois, Kansas, & Missouri, so I don't believe this is a long stretch to think this Wm. F. Elkins might be also related to the Kentucky Elkins family.

You said you have researched the Elkin family quite a bit. Does that mean you have an interest in the history of this family or are you a descendant researching the Elkin name? Just curious.

Would you mind if I used your photo of the above's headstone to illustrate my family tree?
Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in that allows those of us in other parts of the world to see the last resting places of our relatives.
