Mr. Dunn, Thanks for your posting my great-uncle's memorial. His nieces had no idea where their Uncle Shelton had been buried. I can link him now to the rest of the family. Thanks again.

Pamela Crossland
Cleo Crossland
Cleo is still alive as far as I know, living in Amarillo, Texas. She is 90 or 91 years old.

Her maiden name is Cleo Lynch, no middle name. I believe her mother's name was Sara (or Sarah) Martin (or possibly Marten) Lynch; her father's name may have been William Lynch. Sara is believed to be a Choctaw Indian who traveled to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears. William traveled from the northern part of Ireland to Oklahoma to find work. His first wife was also Indian and after her death he married Sara. William and Sara died within a year of each other when Cleo was 4 years old. I believe they lived in Oklahoma in the Eufala or Crowder area.

Cleo was married twice; her first husband's surname was Warren George Phillips.

Caroline Sue Phillips Hall is still living as far as I know and lives in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area.

Cleo and Norman had 4 children.

Pamela Gail Crossland (living)
George William Crossland (living)
Ronald Gene Crossland (livng)

Cleo also had at least 2 brothers, Roy and Hershel. Her sister, Mary "Clessy" Lynch Moore, had 1 son who has passed away. I believe Clessy was married twice, Roy Dale Jameson was her son from her first husband.

This is as much as I know - I hope it helps. I've no idea how to link them all.

Thank you!
Thank you for transfer of memorials of Beverly Weekes Slaughter, John Edward Slaughter, and Jewell Young.
We live some distance from their resting place in Amarillo and will now be able to visit often and have the family members together.
Thank you once again.

Thank You
Walter -

Thanks for helping me as I learn all the policies and procedures at the cemeteries. It's nice to have someone with the experience to take me under their wing.

By the way, I have 38 more requests at Memorial Park and will be caught up for a little while. Right now there are about ten with unmarked graves. The 115 I started with expanded with new requests coming in. I did find that about six of the original ones belonged in another cemetery.

Anyway, thanks again.

I wonder why they didn't give me that info when I asked for a location. That may be the same for Estell Dawkins. Thanks for the info.

Thank you. Were they scattered in 1991?
