I am so sorry! Upon further review this may not be the correct relative. I am so sorry to have bothered you! I have two Ollie Shipwashes with different parents born around the same time in Tennessee but I do know for sure my great grandmother is buried in Union, South Carolina and there is one more Shipwash buried there who I believe is her brother. Therefore, this would not be the correct mother. I am so sorry to have bothered you! :(

Hi there! I was wondering if you would be so kind as to transfer this memorial to me. This is my paternal great, great grandmother. I would appreciate it so much! GOD Bless! Anita

RE: Looking for Our Hicks Family Line
Yes. 1 connection for sure: 2 Marriages between Hicks dtrs of John Hicks & Catherine Goddard and my Fentress Co Hicks.

Possible connection: Joseph Hicks (b1797) is possible cousin of John Hicks (my FC one), who ws born 1789.

The Joseph above is possibly connected to an older Adrey Hicks who lived in Richmond Co NC before Rev War and testified on behalf of a neighbor (Adcock) in Morgan Co in 1821 for a pension. (Note that in 1850, a younger Adrey Hicks lied on Emory River in Morgan Co near
the Joseph Hicks' family.

Jackson Cem . Corbin Hill Morgan
The Jackson Cemetery located on Corbin Hill Road was originally named The C.B. Jackson Cemetery per Tennessee Death Certificate information. Listing it as such would make recognizing it from the Jackson Cemetery in Solomon Hollow , Fairview Road Coalfield much easier and less confusing fro the other. Thanks

Thanks for searching for the headstones. Looks like it could just be too early, since they are new graves.

Appreciate your looking.
