Thank you for your note "Apparent duplication of Find A Grave # 69681183." The memorial you cite was created 4 years after the one I created, so the duplication is not my error. Thanks!
|DBardes||Moses Este Info posted April 2014|
Thank you for your interest in Moses Este. Yes I am aware of the NJ entry you mentioned, #71191445; if you see the message board postings sent back and forth about April 2014 between me and the owner of that New Jersey entry, you will see that the issue is still a work in progress. So perhaps you have Este family to add into the line...Hope so.
Do realize that the NJ Cemetery does not assert that Moses Este is buried there...I think I wrote that on one of the Este family entries. YDNA is also needed from a living Este male, with sponsor, from this line by the Estes DNA Project, ftdna lab.

Yes, the link is to his grandmother, not his mother. I can't change the link; it can only be corrected by Haiden's memorial manager. I have sent a correction to that manager. His mother was Mary Frances Martin, but I don't know where she is buried, so she can't be linked at the moment.
|OBXr||person rather than gravestone photos|
The portrait images you posted to memorials in the Cullen Douglass Cemetery were posted with the type selection of "grave," therefore show an icon indicating they are photos of the gravestones.
Could you please delete and repost them, selecting "person" as the type of photo? There are 3 memorials: # 31463879, # 60737616, and # 31459205.
Thanks so much.

Thank you, accuracy is a goal, however, I do not hold editing privileges and can make no changes; famous listings are entirely within the pervue of administration. To request any changes to famous memorials, you must email firstname.lastname@example.org to submit updates. Be sure to include a link to the memorial record or the memorial ID #.

I noticed you posted a picture of RD Dell Sutton, just wondering if you're part of out line, and how you tie in. Love to hear from you!

The photo I took was taken in Oakland Cem. in Trenton,Gibson County, Tennessee. I have never shot a photo in Milan at Oakview. This picture had to have come from Oakland in Trenton.
|CB||RE: Personal email|
It's not that I don't want pictures on my sites (memorials) I just rather they show the correct icon when they're added. Icon - the little gravestone image and/or portrait image that shows next to a name in a list.
The following is the best I can explain how to delete the photo of William Hayes Ackland.
Deleting a photo:
Open your profile page. (You should be on your profile page if you're reading this.)
In the upper right section under "Contributions to Find A Grave" click on "110 photos". (Those are the photos you have added.)
William Hayes Ackland is the first name on the list that comes up.
Click on his name to open his memorial.
Click on the photo of him. This goes to a page with just the photo.
If you want to add the photo back with as a "person" photo where the correct icon is showing (the portrait icon), save the photo to you computer first. If you aren't going to add the photo back it's unnecessary to save it to your computer.
In the area above his photo there is a line that says "Delete Selected Photo". (You must be logged in to delete a photo same as you would to add one.)
A box will come up that asks "Are you sure you want to delete this photo?"
If you want to add the photo back and have it show the correct icon:
On William's memorial click on "Add a photo for this person". (Pretty sure you already know where that is.)
At "Type of photo:" it comes up "Grave". There is a down arrow to the right of that. Click on the down arrow.
It will give you selections for the type of photo Grave, Person, Family, Other.
Select "Person" to add a photo of a person.
The rest you know how to do to add a photo.
This is about as detailed as I can think to make it. If it's too detailed or not clear then I'll live with it if you still don't know how to delete a photo.
