RE: McAninch/Gullion
Have found some additional info, including that Gullion was actually her third husband. Will send it along after getting my notes in order - took a lot of jumping around. Also, will send by email through the other corrections tab as I don't have your own email. May take a day or two but will be forthcoming.

RE: McAninch & Moree
Not fairing well with these. Did come up with a date of death for Austa Allwein McAninch, age 83, died 28 Dec. 1968. Published records do not record either Hobart or Catherine Moree (no entries at all for anyone with that surname), not sure what this might mean, could just have been an error in the book.

RE: Christopher Hillabold
Christopher and his siblings (including his brother Martin who is my gr-gr-grandfather) were all born in Altendorf which is a small village. Altendorf is in the District of Kassel which is in the state of Hesse. It is in the North Hessian mountains about 23 miles southwest of Kassel between Wolfhagen and Fritzlar. Altendorf is three miles from Heimarshausen where Christopher's father was born and where his grandparents lived. This information is from church records as well as family knowledge.

Sarah Collins Rodgers Robbins Burnside transfer request
Normally I am thrilled to transfer memorials over to people. In this case, I would prefer to keep the memorial, as Sarah was married to my gggrandfather. However, if you or your husband feel strongly about having the memorial under your care, I will transfer it. I would love to exchange information with you or your husband about our mutual relative. My address is

RE: John D Quiett
I'm still working on it. The Benton Co. Historical Society is working on it for me. The obit says he is buried in the Gentry Cemetery but his is not on the list of burials. They are doing further research. Will let you know if we can't find where he is buried.

Quiett Family
Hello Rosalie,

My connection to the Quiett family is through Fidella Eward who married Greeup Quiett. Fidella is the daughter of my Mary Mitchell & James Eward.

Mary Mitchell-Eward is my great-great-great aunt. Fidella was my 1st cousin 4x removed. So Fidella & Greenups children are my 2nd cousins 3x removed.

I've spent a number of years researching the Mitchell family and collateral lines, Great to see another Quiett researcher. When I first started researching that family I felt alone not many people researching Quiett which is kind of sad they have a strong history in America as does the Mitchell & Eward families.
