|Jan Miller||RE: birth dates left off|
My apologies for all of the extra work and confusion this has cost you all. At the time I posted these memorials in Creal Springs, I was obtaining information off of the Williamson County website listing of cemeteries. As you can see in the enclosed link, many of the birth dates are not listed by whoever comprised this list. Trust me, I like for my memorials to be more complete than this. I take pride in what I do here on Find a Grave, and thank you for your kind words in acknowledging that fact.
Please know that if there are headstone photos relating the missing information or further information on those memorialized, I would be more than happy to add this information for you. Is there a more current list of info on these folks? I don't expect you all to have to go over each memorial and "fill in the blanks". I would be more than happy to update the memorials if there is something I can do. Although I'm sure you are familiar with it, here is the link where I obtained my information: http://genealogytrails.com/ill/williamson/crealspringscem.htm
Incidentally, although probably very few (if any) of these folks are related to me, I do have family connections in Williamson County through the Boles and Chamness families on my paternal side, as well as through the Carmical family on my maternal side. My parents met in southern MO and I was very interested to find out that both of them had families from virtually the same town in southern Illinois! My great-grandparents there were Joshua and Almedia Boles, Almedia formerly being a Chamness. My great-great grandmother on the maternal side was Sarah Carmical, who is buried in Texas County, MO, where my mother was raised.
Again, Ann, whatever I can do to help -- please let me know so we can complete the memorials. Please know that if I had had complete information on the memorials I created, I certainly would have posted everything I had. Please keep in touch!
