Thank you for the rich bio information on this Civil War vet. I really appreciate knowing that he served, as I am taking part in a volunteer effort to photograph vet headstones for Inglewood's Veteran Project. There was no indication on his crypt that he was in the military, so this helps us out. If you have knowledge of others at Inglewood, in particular ones like Henry's where you can't tell by the photo that he's a vet, please bring them to my attention.

Cordially,
B.J.

48422291 Civil War vet
Hello, Russ! You helped us last year in documenting all of the Civil War vets at the Table Rock (Nebraska) Cemetery. I missed one. His stone is shattered and the GAR emblem is almost disintegrated. It is Memorial # 48422291, Henry Mumford. Might you have anything on his service??? It would be so much appreciated.

RE: E. Pershbacher
You're very welcome. I almost passed it up. I was looking for Elizabeth. Then it dawned on me that Elisa is short for Elizabeth. I'm glad I walked back and took a second look!

Sergeant & Judge Milton H. Cloud, Co. G, 86th Illinois
Russell, Just wanted to Thank You for sending me the transcript of the obituary of Milton H. Cloud. I always wondered if he REALLY rejoined his regiment after he was wounded in BOTH legs during the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia in 1864. His obituary states he was discharged after his wounding. Can you tell me what newspaper this obit came from and the date in which it appeared? Also, I have always wondered what became of all of his photographs and papers after his death and then after the death of his only surviving descendant, his daughter, Jessie (Cloud) Newlin, in 1951? They were life long residents of Paxton, Illinois. I wonder if there is a historical society in Paxton, which might have received these things?
Well, Thanks again for all you have done to make Milton's bio what it is. Your help has been GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Sincerely, Baxter

Suggestion for Charles Schmidt
Thank you for the wonderful narration of the Averysboro battle and the role that Charles Schmidt played in it. I couldn't find exactly what your suggestion was. There is way too much information to put on Mr. Schmidt's FindAGrave memorial so if you could explain what you'd like to do with this information, I'll help if I can.
