Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started Genealogy a couple of years ago when my Grammy Beverly Grzywa started telling me stories and showing me pictures of her parents Clara and Leon Lukaszewski who was a pharmacist and owned L.S. Lukaszewski Drugs in Detroit MI, my papa Daniel Grzywa who was also a pharmacist and owned Trancick's pharmacy in Detroit MI, and other family members who were very close to her heart. My Grandma Betty Jane Pletcher also sparked my interest for genealogy by telling me how her father John Gonsey came to the US from Hungary, and got a job with twin pines Dairy as a milk man for the entire down river Detroit area. She also showed me pictures and told me stories of her husband Forrest Pletcher who was born in Pennsylvania, and was a child of a broken home. Knowing he had to support his mother and siblings, he dropped out of school in the eighth grade and moved to Detroit and got a job as a carpenter and how their son Charles now offers a scholarship every year to carpenter students every year in my grandpa's name.

I started with researching my main family lines, but my research kept growing and growing. The main families I am researching are... Pletcher- Somerset Co. Pa, Grzywa, Detroit MI and Poland. Gonczy/ Gonsey Detroit MI and Hungary, and Lukaszewski Chicago IL., and Poland.
If you need info. on any of these names I will be glad to share that with you.

Also I have made a virtual cemetery for memorials I have either created or visited that I thought could use an extra flower, I named it Angels in Need of Flowers If you know of a person's memorial that should be added to this list please let me know.

I will gladly transfer management of any of my memorials to you only if you are a direct descendant of that person, and that person is not a direct descendant of me.

Feel free to use any of the info, and pics. I upload to find a grave for your own genealogy reasons.

CORRECTIONS: Please use the correction tab for any and all corrections this sends me an email with a link to the person you are needing a correction for. I will try to correct the problem within 24 hours.

If you need any other information on any of the names I am researching please visit my family Tree. The link to it is listed below under Website.

Ancestors of so long ago,
I'll search until I find.

Till I can prove and clearly show,
that you are truly mine.

I'll follow behind your trail of tears,
the hidden footprints of time.

Covered and buried throughout the years,
and continue each mountain to climb.

I'll search every faraway seaside shore,
and every valley below.

I'll unlock each and every door,
as my own teardrops flow.

I'll unearth the buried History of you,
and your own Ancestral kin,

I'll search for that all important clue,
and open my heart to let you in.

_______THE CANDY CANE_________

A significant symbol of Christmas
Is the simple candy cane
Its shape is the crook of the shepherd
One of the first who came

The lively peppermint flavor is
The regal gift of spice
The white is Jesus' purity
The red is sacrifice

The narrow stripes are friendship
And the nearness of his love
Eternal sweet compassion
A gift from God above

The candy cane reminds us all
Of how much God cared
And like His Christmas gift to use
It's meant to be broken and shared
