Happily unattached, traveling nurse anesthetist with a passion for genealogy, outdoors, and photography. I enjoy recording and sharing cemeteries I find in my travels with people on FAG. I am not related to most of my memorials; please let me know if I can transfer a relative of yours to you. I enjoy doing photo requests and try to take a few extra pictures while I am there. I try to prepare the stone for a nice picture but don't always have my tools with me (the airlines frown on gardening tools in luggage!) to trim grass, wash bird droppings, etc. Please let me know if I've made some typos and I will correct ASAP. Also, please let me know if you get a better photo and I will delete mine. I'll be always grateful to one of my high school English teachers, Marjory Sharp, Find A Grave Memorial# 117584719, for assigning a four generation pedigree chart and to my great grandmother, Eva Alta Jackson Yeokum, Find A Grave Memorial #20165966, who lived next door and helped me fill it out the night before it was due!|

January 2012 - I am working to "link" my memorials. Links weren't around when I started here, so I'm having to do some serious backtracking! Thanks to everyone that sends additional information for the memorials--I get 10-20 emails a week--please be patient as I work on getting all this added, too.

Hi! If I'm right(?) & this is the same Seymour, he was a member of the 1906 B.H.S. Interscholastic State Football Championship team. If (?) you are related, do you know if a photo exists of him. To use as comparison for a photo, I have of the "team", but no names on photo! thanks
|Harold & Wanda Blackwell||RE: Edwin Michel|
You are welcome, glad we could help.
Can I use your yahoo address to send you the photo file so you can have it put on his memorial with your name not mine?
|Harold & Wanda Blackwell||Edwin Michel|
I ahve worked on the photo and added it to his memorial. If it is satisfactory I will delete the one I added and send the file to you so you can add it. If it's not what you want then I'll go ahead and delete it and let you add a new request.
|Harold & Wanda Blackwell||N. Montia Huff, 64330398|
I would appreciate a transfer of N. Montia Huff's memorial to us. She is my wife's grand-aunt and we have her husbands memorial.
Our contributor # 46805926.
I noticed in your photo requests for Edwin Michel you asked for a better photo. I noticed the one you have has grass, etc growing over parts of the stone is that what you want to get rid of? If that is the issue then I can take the photo into Photoshop and clean it up and put it back on the memorial.
If you do want a better photo please get the plot information and I will try to get one the next time we are in that area. It is a large cemetery and the plot info would be needed. Thanks

I was thrilled to find your photos of this cemetery! I wondered if you had also created a spreadsheet? I am the newly elected Secretary of the Association that manages the Cemetery. Don't want to duplicate your work. Thanks! Jo Turner

|Loretta (Willis) Rainey-Fones||Warren Keith McCollum|
Hello Kathy. This is in regards to your memorial for Warren Keith McCollum # 82118712. In 2006, my now deceased sister, Linda, had created a memorial, #1545811. It's been brought to my attention (I now manage Linda's memorials), that Mr. McCollum was not buried in Columbia, as was stated in the newspaper article. What I would like to do, is copy a more complete obituary from Linda's memorial to yours and delete hers. However I'm going to try to make contact with Marilyn Flach, who posted a photograph of him to Linda's memorial and have her add it to yours before I delete my sister's. Just thought I would give you a heads up on my plans. Great job on all of your contributions. Such a gift from you to others who are in search of their families. "Each Day Counts", Loretta
