My maternal side of the family has been researched, traced back to England, and published. My paternal side has, to my knowledge, never been documented. As a matter of fact, we were always told the "records were lost". Since genealogy is apparently in my blood, I decided to embark on the journey to discover the true history of the family I really never knew too well. I am researching the following surnames in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Tennessee...so far...: Marshall, Belt, Russell, Bolt, and Bell. I hope to preserve this heritage for my two wonderful children Michael James Wellman and Ariel Raquel Wellman.|

Hello- I saw your memorial on Marianne Marshall's findagrave page. She was married to my 3x G grandfather's BROTHER Daniel Machado De Souza (children of Mariana Delfina de Azevedo and Joaquim Machado de Souza/ de Aviles). Daniel came to the US and settled in RI (arrived in New Bedford, Mass). Do you have any other info on this line- interested to know if the other siblings stayed in Sao Jorge or also made it to the US. You can email me directly at email@example.com

If you are related to these two I would like to get in touch with you to get some information on them for my family tree on Ancestry.com. Ada was my great, great grandmother and I would like to know when she passed away.

Hello...I have been researching my genealogy for years now. I still have not been able to find my 3x great though, and I am just so frustrated. Samuel Marshall b. Dec 1858 Phila, PA d.? Did you happen to run across him in your research? I believe you and I are connected somewhere as Russell is in my tree as well.
