I've enjoyed working on my family genealogy and helping others with their research for many years. I am a member of several genealogy organizations and the Daughters of the American Revolution. |
It's important to preserve the family history provided to us by cemeteries. Besides looking for my own family names, I also like to record military graves and the older headstones before they are no longer readable.

I have been a great deal of family research on Find A Grave.
I noted that you have 7/13/1863 listed as the date of birth of John Townsend Lansing. I believe it is actually 7/13/43.
Just a thought,
Anthony J Prest
Thank you so much for the transfers and for all you do to preserve our history.

Sorry, just this morning I located Capt. John Fryer's date of death, 23 Jul 1784. Found it in "Contributions of 1st. settlers of Albany". Now for marriage info. It seems as soon as I correspond with someone, I found what I was looking for. Have a nice Thanksgiving. -s

Lydia Fryer Visscher
I am searching for Lydia's mother's, Anna (Hanna) Van Zandt death record and marriage?
I wondered if you came across it in the Albany Rural cards?
I too am DAR. Anna baptized 25 Nov 1722 Dutch Reformed, married John Fryer abt 1745, died abt 1783, probably St. Peter's.
I thought I would ask before writing to the Church, just in case you had anything you would share. Thank you in advance for checking. -s

Many thanks for the photo!

Thank you so very much for fulfilling our request for a photo of Leonard & Ida's marker. Leonard Smith was one of Pete's grandmothers brothers, and it took a little investigative work to locate him. You taking the photo to add to his memorial is just the icing on the cake. Thanks for your time and effort, it is much appreciated. Have a great evening.
