|As a life-long Oregon City, Oregon resident, I am interested in recording each of my family's specific data. My family ancestors were some of the early settlers of the area. I follow the Find A Grave policy on transfers, however, I do not transfer management of my own relatives.|
I am more than happy to add new material to memorials.

I am not sure either, someone requested it last week and then another person requested in just the other day and someone claimed it then commented it was a duplicate so they left it open. Not sure unless they requested it not realizing someone else did before I got it uploaded. Odd :--) I do try to clean them up before I take the picture.
Thanks again, Lisa

I fulfilled your photo request, trimmed the grave stone up from over grown grass and cleaned it up and then a new request was put out for another picture, was there a problem with the picture? :-)

Do you have anything that verifies the death place of my cousin's husband Daniel? I added him to my list to pull his death certificate next time I am in Salem. Anita

I saw that you said he was remembered with love and was wondering if you are related. He was the first husband of my great grandmother's sister Helen. Thank you

I couldn't have asked for my memorial to be duplicated by a sweeter person than you. Have a Merry Christmas.
(I deleted mine... that is just one less memorial to get emails over!)

Hi, once again I have a subject of some real importance. The memorial that you created for her is a duplicate. After all the work you did to give richness to Jane's memorial. I have to believe that
you must have known that your memorial is the youngest.
Please address this issue at your very earliest opportunity. Find A Grave could transfer your memorial to the other custodian and then eliminate the other one. The date issue is the deciding issue to Find A Grave unless you are able to work out a deal where the other one is destroyed.
I will report the problems as I fine them. But, I do give the owners time to work things out...and they most often due. Sometimes they report the duplicates themselves. [I have reported on ten duplicate cemeteries.] Someone had already placed over 300 duplicate memorials in the newer one. What a mess for Find A Grave to sort out.
Remember your problem with your quotes being not up to anyone standards. It is best to fix them right.

When you copy someones work. Like an obit, you have a legal and moral obligation to give a true and honest source for the work that you copied. This is a serious business. The obit does not belong to the dead.
Why are you using cypher codes to tell where you sourced material. This was done twice on her site. It is not Legal, or professional. Please, go back and correct your work. Even page numbers should be used and where published.
To prevent problems with Find A Grave and to prevent loss of your good work you should follow standard procedures. Some would consider it in a very dark light. There are words to specifically define not giving due credit to others work. I will not use them here because I think that you do this not to take credit from another but to make your life easier .... It is likely the time it takes to do the job properly, and correctly.
Now, I am truly sorry for this was not meant to hurt your feelings. But, to have you think about what is good and proper.

My Harris, Colosky, Davidson, Olds and a few others including my father Wes Harris were born and or lived at Oregon City.
I'm happy to have found my Olds relations on your page.
