Wood family in Texas
14178776 John Arch Wood

I noticed you have contributed a number of photos of the wood family. They haven't been linked, but I have descendants of John Arch Wood and Maggie Tipton Wood. If you are related, would you contact me. I need more information on his son Edmond Wood that married Leona Shields.
Thanks, Virginia

Robert Crooke Wood Jr
From our findings, Gen Wood's son Robert, after the civil war moved back to buffalo , NY to assist in the Gatling Gun industry. He then moved back to the south to be with his family and children. As for John Taylor Wood, he passed in Nova scotia. John Woods family is large and established. some in the RCMP. You say Robert had an Uncle? Well now you have my ear. Please explain the uncle. this going to be fun.

RE: Robert Wood, son of Gen. Robert Crooke Wood
I have found Robert Wood had children and I am working on it. It was my hope that you could have given me a head start. Im going to do it the hard way. It is important to the volunteers up here to find them. Civil war projects do take time I guess. Thank you for your effort and work.
