Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the peace and quiet of cemeteries. (There are no telemarketers calling.) I also love taking pictures. The exercise is at my own pace. The stones are interesting, and they absolutely need to be documented before they are lost to the ravages of time.

I'm 10 generations forward from my Mayflower ancestor George Soule. I'm 13 generations from my New Haven founder Capt. Nathaniel Turner. 13 Generations is 1024 direct ancestors (doesn't count siblings etc.) My husband also has 1024 direct ancestors going back to the Mayflower. That's 2048 direct ancestors. I haven't found them all in the 40+ years I've been researching. But I'm still looking. Thanks to all of you members at Find a Grave, who are making finding their burial places easier.

PLEASE use the EDIT tab for suggestions, corrections and transfers. I'm happy to make changes, but I'm going to ask you for a source, if it's not directly on the stone. (Using the new edit system you can send source information through the "Suggest any other correction or addition" line.) The internet is a wonderful thing for genealogists but it's also very good at spreading misinformation, and I am trying very hard not to spread undocumented genealogy. That's one of the reasons I love Find a Grave, because I can look directly at a gravestone and see exactly what it says and don't have to depend on second and third hand information. Happy hunting.

PHOTOS OF GRAVESTONES. Please feel free to use mine, that's why I took them. I do like to get credit, though. "ASB"

PHOTOS OF PEOPLE. I've posted them to be enjoyed by visitors to Find a Grave. I was a little taken aback to see my mother's photo on Ancestry. So you're welcome to use them, for your personal use, but I would appreciate it, if you would avoid posting them to other internet sites.

RE: Adeline Boucher 93807049
My wife's great grandmother is Mrs Joseph Paquette. Or Mary Carrie King. She is linked to Alexis Roy. Alexis used the French for King or Roy. Mary Paquette' obit shows her sister as Adeline Bushey. On Alexis Roy's obit they listed his first two children as Mrs. Narcisse Beausoleil instead of Mrs Narcisse or Nelson Boucher. Adeline also shows up on the 1870 Mooers, NY census, and Mary Paquette's death certificate shows father Alexander King. If you have any other questions please let me know.

RE: Emma B. Gagne memorial
Thank you so much for checking. I'm not sure who she is but now I have something more to go on.

James Whitney - Staffordville Cemetery
An incorrect cemetery merge (mea culpa) has landed your photo on the site for the wrong James Whitney. I've recreated the site at Staffordville Cemetery and hope you can delete the photo from New York and add it back to the Connecticut site:

Connecticut Site:

New York Site:

If you'd prefer that I delete the site I created in Connecticut, please let me know and I'll do so right away. My sincerest apologies, Kathy

RE: Emma B. Gagne memorial
I made a mistake in my message prior to this. You manage the memorial for Beatrice L. Gagne, memorial number 110026378. On the photo of the stone are two more names. One is Emma B. Montpelier and there is another below Emma's name. I believe it to be both Beatrice and Emma's mother Alice Bedard. Can you help clarify this for me?

Ellen Nolan
I was searching to determine who had requested the photo for Ellen Nolan. Is that Ellanore Ratterman Nolan ( who Rev Steiner photographed)? She is my grandmother who we never knew, as she died in the birth of my father, William Nolan, Jr. Can you tell me why you made the request?

Emma B. Gagne memorial
Hello, Thank you so much for your great work of documenting and photographing gravestones for all of us family researchers. It is very much appreciated.
I noticed on Emma's stone that there is another name below hers. It looks like Alice but I can't read the other names associated with it. I believe the Alice to be Emma's mother Alice Bedard Gagne. If you know the information or have a photo of the rest of the stone I would appreciate either seeing it or a transcription of the stone.
Thanks again for your good work.
