Bio and Links
Bio Photo Transfers under the following guideline. I've learned a long time ago you can't please everyone and I'm not going to try. For you who like to break the rules, don't waste your or mine time. If your request is outside my guidelines, I will ignore and delate your request.

Generation 1: your family -- Husband - wife - your children - son-in laws - daughter-in-laws - grandchildren.

Generation 2: your and spouse parents -- Father - Mother - aunts - uncles - 1st cousins - wives and hubands of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Generation 3: Grandparents - their siblings and their children -- huband and wife of siblings and children.

Generation 4: Great Gradparents - their siblings and their children - huband and wife of siblings and children.

NO transfers beyond the great-grandparents and NO transfers of Revolution Soliders or Civil War Soliders or Sailors.

This is a MUST!!! You have to tell me your RELATIONSHIP to the person you want transfered and PROVE if I shoud ask FOR proof. No transfer.

Don't waste my time with: I went school with...I do research for another person would you consider transfering...they were neighbors to my grandparents...I work with this person...they were my neighbors when I was a kid...just this once would consider breaking the rules...ect. ect. ect. If you are not related, forget it. My transfers go to family members who fall within the guide lines.

For you who think there should be no rules and should transfer every request that comes down the pipe, take it up with Find A Grave. They're the ones who set the rules.

CORRECTIONS: For you impatient persons who believe your request should be answered in a 24 hours period of time. Get Real! I may have 30 or 40 other requests before yours comes in. I do answered all corrections but it might take several day or weeks. I don't spent 24-7 at the computer. I know this is hard for you to believe but I do have a life outside the computer. I do have family and friends I spent time with, I have a part time job, yard ward, house keeping, grocery shopping, library research, visiting cemeteries for tombstones to photograph, searching cemeteries for requested tombstones and other chores that has to be do.

MY PERSONAL GOAL: My reason for joining Find A Grave is to presrve graves and their tombstones. That's where the bulk of my time on the computer goes, adding people and their tombstones. Corrections and tranfers are done when I can find extra time in the day. So if it takes me one or two months to answering your requests, so be it. Don't give me any guff, that if I can't keep up with the requests, I should transfer the memorials to someone who can. Get Real!! It won't happen!

Jesse Alexander Hill
I am doing research for the grandson of Horace Leonard Hill. Horace is the son of Lucy Jane Elliott and Jesse Alexander Hill. Is there a reason why you did not link Annie Jane Hill with her dad? I do not want to step on toes. I did link Lucy to Jesse, but if you would rather not have that link, you or I can delete it.

Milton N. and Virginia Seth Cook
Richard, these are my gggrandparents. Milton was born in Ohio and Virginia was born in PA. I don't have a lot on them other than they moved with their sons Silas Milton and George from PA with Silas' wife Clarinda and young son, Edwin, who was 10 mos old on the 1880 census in MO. As the next Census was destroyed, I lost contact with them until 1900, where my grandfather was 21 and living in New Jersey, working in a wire factory. Silas and Clarinda had 4 sons, as best I can tell. Edwin, George, Augusta and Frank. If you have any other information on this family I would sure love to have it.

Thank you.

Alfred Swander
Alfred Swander (brother to Aaron and William) of Shelby County, Ohio was born October 3, 1842. On August 11, 1862, he was enrolled as a Private in Company H, 99th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and was mustered for three years at Camp Lima, Ohio by Captain C.O. Howard on August 26, 1862. He was captured September 20, 1863 at battle of Chickamauga, Georgia. He died January 1, 1864 in prison at Danville, Virginia. Because the 99th and the 50th Ohio Infantry Regiments were consolidated December 31, 1864 he is listed on the 50th Muster Roll (even through he was already deceased!). The 99th Ohio's Roll of Honor lists him as buried Danville, Virginia. The 50th Ohio's Roll of Honor has a similar entry with the added information that he died December 31, 1863 and that he is buried in Grave #683. However, his gravesite cannot now be found. Additional Swander(s) who served in the Civil War include:

Lisa Byrd
Hi - My name is Lisa L. Byrd. I am contacting you regarding the Memorial of Viola Lucille (Rose) Burson, Memorial # 90155091. She is my Great Aunt (although we called her Aunt Lucille!)

I was hoping you would assign this Memorial over to me. Her brother (Herbert Perry Rose # 34342378) is my grandfather) I'm in the process of contacting the contributors of all my family, so that I can maintain everyone's Memorial. I'm really not sure of what you need for me to prove that she is family to me, so please let me know what I'm missing.

Again, I'm not sure what you need as proof, so let me know.

Thank you very much!

Lisa Lorraine Byrd
