Before my mom passed away I started on the journey to discover my family ancestors. I don't remember how I was put in touch with my cousin but we meet about 5 years ago. |
That meeting started me especially after the phone call to my mom. They talked for two hours and I spent the next day gathering photos of people she remembered. The past came to life for her when I brought them home. She enjoyed them for almost 2 years before she graduated to higher ground.
What was interesting is that the past also became part of my present. Now as of August 10, 2008, the tree is being redone. However, this wonderful resource was found as well as an increase of information. The tree now stands at 6,011 people. It grows every day with new discoveries. All because of a computer crash new life is growing. With the help of others for every question answered ten more come up.
For that reason I am glad to experience the ever expanding network on this long journey. As they say many hands make work lite. Lets all work together and see what else can be found.
Thanks a million times something,

Would you please transfer this memorial to me? He is my 3rd great grandfather. Thank you so very much for creating this memorial.
Hello. Would you please transfer to me the memorial of Anna Niederer Porter? She was my grandfather's sister and a dear relative of mine. I realize that she is outside FindaGrave requirements for transferring, but I would really appreciate it, since I am related to her and you are not (if you are, I'd love to know how! :-)) I am the custodian of memorials for her husband, parents, and three siblings as well. Thank you!

Thank you for creating a memorial for my 2nd great-grand uncle. 21876809
I had requested a photo of the tombstone of Martha Bronson. I was told that the names in that section were "Bornsen". since you created the memorial, I was just wondering if you could double check on this for me. I am only related by the Fick name and do not know the married names. You have her as Martha Fick Bronsen 3/26/1886-11/29/1957, in Concordia cemetery, forrest park,il

Thank you for processing all the edits I have sent you! So many connections in Mason City, dating back to the 1850s. I'm grateful to you for all your hard work.

I WISH I HAD KNOWN IDA. I MOVED TO SCOTTSDALE IN 1952 AND GRADUATED FROM CORONADO HS IN 1963. SO I WOULD HAVE OVERLAPPED WITH IDA DURING MY TEENAGE YEARS. I AM ATTEMPTING TO FIND THE BURIAL LOCATION AND GRAVE MARKER FOR HER SISTER LOUISE FINCH SCHOSHUSEN. SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN TEMPE DOUBLE BUTTE BUT THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF HER.

Sorry his name was still out there needing picture, after I loaded it- it showed me that he already had a picture. I did notice that there was a Hazel M, Harold W , and a baby beside them. Didnt know if you wanted them, if they were related.
