Bio Photo Thank you in advance for visiting my sister, Sandy
and my mother, Elsie.

I am so grateful to everyone that leaves flowers for them.

One of my hobbies is Wheres

When time permits, please leave flowers for the following:

April 23 Joseph Banks
April 23 Von Warriner

April 28 Coyte Campbell

This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):

Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you one will ever know.

I was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. I've lived in FL, NY, CA, WA, and OR.

I found Find A Grave by accident. It has become one of my favorite sites to visit. It has given me a place that I can remember my mother and my sister Sandy and honor their memory right from my desk. Thank you Find A Grave.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim

Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

"If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't want to know.

But, here's another question, which
Requires another view,
If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?"

Thank you, Neil,
I am so grateful for you taking time to spread much joy to my ancestors and my family by sharing your generous love and giving to others that you do so well. I have found information and really appreciate the pictures of Buck Cemetery as sad as they may be. I guess the headstones are gone or else unreadable. I have the surname of "Boyer" instead of "Bayer". Thoughts and prayers for strength for you and your family.

Thank You!

Dear Neil,

With sadness, I read the first paragraph of you bio.

It has been with happiness that I have seen all the flowers you have left on my ancestors memorials. There have been so many and I probably haven't seen them all.

I consider myself a friend to you and have felt blessed with every flower I have left for your memorials. Please be in touch.

Our mothers
Your mother worked hard too, like mine. Things were different back then. I miss my mom a lot, as you do too. We will be with them again.
