Helping to Add photos and listing to the 14 Cemeteries of Harmon County, Oklahoma...Visit my genealogy located at "Free" site at Rootsweb.com over 190,000 entries. I started genealogy in 1995 before I had a computer, used Family History Center in Bagdad, Arizona where I found friends who loved genealogy as much as I do! Moved back to Delbert's Roots in Oklahoma to retire. I have walked the 14 cemeteries many times making lists to place online, now, walking with my camera... to update ! (On my third camera)
P S: If you notice a big dark blob on the marker, it may be my DNA...SWEAT....got a few drops on some in Wellington, Texas! HA! July 14, 2012

Many many thanks to my Friend MARILYN of the Dodson Cemetery Association for the wonderful bios she has sent !!! She is doing a fantastic job digging up this information and I am very grateful for her giving a story to these pages !!!
Hours of work, enhancing these Memorial pages in Texas and Oklahoma.
I hear ethereal whispers, persuasive, soft and still, "Daughter, if you don't remember us, who will ?"..(stolen from .., who stole it from ..!)

Jeanette, thank you so very much for the work you are doing with Find a Grave. It really means a lot to people like me who have worked with genealogy so long (since the 80's) and can no longer visit the cemeteries. You and those like you have made it possible for us still to visit them. My journey has been a long one and I am still working at it. I hope you won't mind my copying your photos for my Ancestry and Family Tree Maker family files. I am trying so hard to leave a clear path for my descendants and those who come after me to follow to learn their heritage. May God bless you in all your efforts in helping others.

Curious about how you obtained the photo of Frank Martin when the headstone for John Ritchie was installed.
I was in previous contact with Frank Martin and am researching the Long family. Catherine Long married John Ritchie. thank you

Could you please send me your source or documentation for his parents which you ask me to post from the edit button? I always ask for sources to keep my research clean and make it a good source for future researchers. Thanks for all your hard work for find a grave. Volunteers like you have made it a great site.

I added his Plot #. I was wondering if you are related to Peggy Orand Perrin who was married to M.L? He is my half brother (same father, different mother).

I have taken pictures of every headstone at McNight and I do not have a headstone for Charles Umphrey Fillpot and James Edward Fillpot. I am baffled. Do you know if their graves are unmarked? There is burial spots for two people beside Chester and Ethel Fillpot but it only has a concrete block there. Yikes, any help is appreciated.
Also do you know the location of a grave for Ruth Carter. Did she have a full name and people just called her Ruth. I do not have a headstone for her and it is not on either website but we have been told she is at McNight. Thanks for any info you can give us.
