Bio Photo Of Scot, English descent:
Father Fraser T. McLachlan (born in Bruce County, Ontario, married in Alberta, died in Coquitlam, BC). Additional family names include Fraser, Kelly and McPhee (among other Scot surnames).

Mother Vida Olive Satterlee Pugsley McLachlan.
Therefore interested in our family names Portiss, Shire, and Palatine records (among other Irish surnames).
Entrusted by Goldie Satterlee Fowler with original Nicholas Satterlee line research.
Over 25 years of my research includes international visits to the over 30 cemeteries listed. Appreciate your patience as we transfer information.

Married into family lineages Braithwaite, Gunderson, Gill.

Happy to transfer management to family members more closely related. We love to make contact and interconnections with more relatives. For FindAGravers who transfer management willingly to family members, we appreciate your aloha spirit and "friendship" so much!

"No cemetery," may show by a quirk of software, requesting to "Click name for details." Non-cemetery burials, such as in farms or at sea should NOT be assumed to be "unknown." According to Q & A: What if someone was cremated or does not have a traditional 'grave'? "Find A Grave believes everyone should be remembered equally and have built the site to support common alternative dispositions to traditional burial. This includes cremation, lost or buried at sea, and donated to medical science."

Re: grave of George Frederick Rice
Hello Pat, would you mind transferring this grave record over to me? George Frederick Rice was my direct great-great Grandfather, and I would like to add photos of him and his wife, Elma Satterlee, my gg-grandmother, as well as their history. (I'd love to have her grave-record transferred over to me as well, but understand if you don't want to do that, as I see you are linked to the Satterlee family!) Thank you so much!

RE: Satterlee, Herbert L.
Hi Pat,

His actual grave is 117016538. He is actually burried in El Dorado, Kansas along with many other generations of his family. His first wife was the aunt of my grandmother, his two children were my grandmother's first cousins. I am working on my Wales family history, his wife's Mabel's maiden name.

I am trying to located a handwritten book on the Wales family. It would have contained a few generations of the Sattlerlee family, but the majority of the information was actually on the Wales family, and the other family lines married into the Wales family My grandmother loaned it to someone who knew of its existence so they could use it for their family research and it was never returned to my grandmother.

The book was written by my great grand uncle Father George Wales, he was a Jesuit priest, I have heard him refered to as a Monk, but he was a Jesuit.

For some reason Goldie is ringing a bell as who borrowed my grandmother's book. The book was handwritten, it was bound, with blue grey cover. I have located two descendants of my grandmother's first cousins who have their family copies of the book, but I sm trying to locate my family copy. Did Goldie have a book that had information on the Wales family?

RE: Celia Hobbs
Oh my, maybe Find A Grave can help you. I located Milton Hobbs this morning and connected him. Are you related to the family? Thank you for your response, although I knew Laura I did not know anyone else in the family.

Edgar Barton Moore
I am a Moore descendent..the info you have is confusing and some incorrect. Edgar married Elizabeth Calhoun their son has his mother's maiden name,as his middle name,Charles Anthony Moore, which was common for lst born sons.(Irish)
Elizabeth died in 1943, as the tombstone says, not 1942.

Satterlee was Elizabeth's Mother in law's maiden name, not Elizabeth's. Please correct.

And who was struck by lightning, the son? Confusing. Thank you.
