Please use Suggest a Correction Button for transfers and corrections instead of leaving a message on my profile. Messages that suggest corrections, linking, or deletions that are left on my profile will not be answered. Since the high number of S.A.C's I receive weekly it is just easier and less time consuming to use S.A.C.'s for everyone involved. Any correction posted on my profile will be deleted.|
WE DO MAKE TRANSFERS WITHIN THE 4 GENERATION "FIND A GRAVE" GUIDELINES WHICH ARE:
Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer. PLEASE STATE YOUR EXACT RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED. We now have to do this after receiving 80 suggest a correction for out of bound transfers in one day. If family relation is not stated the suggest a correction will be ignored.
For family members out of the guidelines i will gladly make corrections or add more info. PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB on the upper right side of the memorial to send the information and memorial numbers for links.
When I enter memorials by walking the rows and taking pictures. Always try to check to make sure i do not duplicate in that cemetery. But I will not waste time searching burial unknowns. I am not a fan of burial unknowns and will not waste time on them. If a memorial I entered is a dupe of a memorial unknown, i will ask admin for a merge.
Unless i know you, I keep my e-mail private and do all F.A.G. business on the site, thank you.
All S.A.C.'s are being done within 24 to 48 hours.

Thank you so much for trying to find a marker. Completely understandable that this section is old and markers are missing/buried. Based upon what little I have learned about this side of my family, it is likely they did not have enough money to purchase a marker. Again, thank you for your time! V/r, K. Wilson
|Kathy Camp||RE: Ethel Henrietta Smith Kent|
Ethel married Frederick Ambrose Kent b. 1877 and he died sometime after 1930. I am thinking that Ambrose Kent is related to Frederick but I haven't researched this family. Family search has some of the books for Mount Pleasant on their website but the index only goes to 1935 and they don't have all the index books online. I think someone who is directly related to Ambrose Kent would like to have the page. Thank you for asking!
The estate of Ambrose and Benjamin Kent owns the plot according to the cemetery book on https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11542-13927-51?cc=1627831&wc=M948-QKK:n263268650

I am looking for the gravesight of my grandparents and will be coming to Parklawn in December. Can you let me know where they are located in the cemetery, or how do I find this out. Thank you.

Thanks so much for taking the time to add the gravestone photo for Effie (Brown) Connolly and her husband. Much appreciated!
|Doris Wyss||Anna Maria Holmes-Mount Pleasant Cemetery|
Thank you for posting Anna's memorial along with the headstone photo. I would like to ask your permission to post the photo on my ancestry.com family tree with photo credit to yourself. Please let me know if this would be okay with you. Thanks again, Doris
Thanks for the phone number and contact person! I cannot imagine living in a place where the ground is so frozen until May! We're already wearing shorts and flip-flops by April here in the South! Helen

I appreciate you going to Prospect Cemetery in search of Mary Whalley's headstone or marker as requested. The information you sent is very helpful. It would make sense that a stone or granite marker would sink or settle below the surface of the ground after 79 years which would require raising it. I see that issue quite a bit with the older burial sites in the rural cemeteries where I fill requests here in Tennessee. Thanks so much for taking the time to get the images of her family plot marker. Warmly, Helen
