Please note that photos I've added for Park Lawn Cemetery, Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery and Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Hillcrest Cemetery in York, Ontario, Canada were taken by Islington.

I only sat at a computer and put them on the website. Islington walked through these huge cemeteries and took the photos.

All credit to Islington.

Sheehan family - Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto
That's the crazy part of this memorial, the name under the picture is yours not Islington. So the memorial was placed by you and photo looks like it was posted by you. Or have I got my wires crossed as I can tell from your profile you note Islington takes the photos. Marianne

RE: Sheehan family - Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto
Thanks Barb, I saw your info. about your friend taking the pictures but then your name appeared with the photo so thought there may have been a chance. Since they are not a relation would you mind tsf. the memorial to me on my Findagrave acct. #47659026, as I do have quite a bit more for bio etc. Or is there another way to request a tsf. Marianne

Hi Barbara: I know this is a long shot, but you have posted a picture of James Sheehan & his wife Hannah Keenan and their various children, born in this cemetery, and I would very much like to know if you are related. I have been searching for their daughter Kathleen Sheehan who married my 1st cousin Samuel Alex. Baker and wonder if you know anything more about the Sheehan family. Thank you. Marianne

RE: Marjorie
Hope you get it all sorted out! It's getting me confused! As for finding out who made burial arrangements, I would recommend contacting the respective mortuary/cemetery offices. Since I'm not a relative, I'm not sure if they would release that info to me. Even if they would, it's above my pay grade as a photo volunteer! :)

RE: James Hamlet
I was at Green Acres again and decided to go back to look around in the area where James is to see if I could find the other names you mentioned previously. What I found was just one row away from his grave. Take a look at two new memorials that I created and see what you think.

RE: James Hamlet
You are very welcome and may use the photo any way you wish. The marker appears to be bronze and what you see in the center is the bottom side of a bronze vase which can be pulled out and flipped over. The base of it is then attached to the marker. It's amazing that his is still intact after all these years because these bronze vases often get stolen. It was a nice warm day but soon temperatures will get into the triple digits! I may not be doing a lot of photos until fall comes around again.

RE: James Hamlet
Good news! There is a marker for James! When I returned today, a very nice man named David checked the records and told me that the location info given to me previously was incorrect and that I would never have found him where I was looking. He actually took me over to the grave site on a golf cart so that I could photograph the marker. Very much appreciated due to the 90 degree temp today!
