research on family tree
hi i was doing some reasearch on my family tree and this website came up so i did a quick search on my grandparents i didnt think they would be on here and you were listed as the person on my grandfathers page avedis herald kevorkian.


are you from the ct area? we could be related

aveids was my maternal grandfather and hermine his wife " everyone called her alice. was my grandmother


i know from my research that the kevorkians were orginaly from turkey then fled to cyprus some went before the genocide because they knew troubles were coming. and then eventualy they made it to the usa. my granmothers side kouyoumdjian was also from turkey but fled to sudan and then evenutally the usa

I cleaned it up 2 years ago (planted Rose of Sharon at the sign) and cut up and removed most of the fallen tree..but another tree was hit by lightning shortly there after...I'm sure it will come down too. I'll keep your note and let you know how it goes. If you have any info for me to post on the memorials..it's always welcome!! .....Jan

John Learn DOD 1862 vs 1899
The stone in the photo sure looks more like 1862 rather than 1899. I have books with cemetery records for my county and I've been taking photos and found many errors in names, dates, etc. I'm sticking with 1862.
