Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my family's genealogy
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.

Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.

Please send all requests for corrections, links and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial.

I will not make any links when the final disposition is not known. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial. This is a grave registration site, not a place to build your family tree. Per the FAQs a memorial with a correct known burial location will always take preference over a burial unknown.

I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

Infant Whitman
Thank you for your interest in this memorial. You may be right that the name should be Whittemore, however I am unable to read the lettering of the stone on my computer. Nor have I been able to find any documentation on the Internet. Deborah and William Whittemore may be related, but they died several before the infant died; definitely are not the parents. My information came from a printed list prepared about 1988. It shows the infant was buried in section 4, row 18, stone number 18 counting from left in that row. James and Nancy are in the same section and row, stones 21 and 22. I will keep searching for an answer, and please let me know if you find out anything. Thanks again for all your work. I really appreciate it.
