I live in Westmoreland County, Pa. I have been taking tombstone pictures since 2009 of tombstones in Westmoreland County cemeteries. Currently I have over 100,000. Finally I have time to load some of them to find a grave. Hopefully it will help some one. My goal is to take 10,000 tombstone pictures a year. |
I also want to thank my tombstone picture taking friend Kathi. We have finished several cemeteries in the Westmoreland county area.
With the help of our friend Bonnie who is adding pictures to find a grave. We hope to get the cemeteries loaded quicker.
Currently we am working on uploading tombstones to Greensburg Catholic.
If you are requesting a memorial transfer please give me the memorial number for each person you want. Also your find a grave number so I can transfer with out searching.

Hi, Franny, We're trying to be sure BMHS has our MECHLING materials, so your photo will always be welcomed & a super addition. MECHLINGs & related, were in West'd Co from at least 1780.
My direct lines, esp. Hempfield twp- (#12721646) MECHLING/ wife KOHLER & Ludwig OTTERMAN/WILLIAMS wife, so area is quite SPECIAL to me. ;) By early 1800s, my MECHLING line "homesteaded" in central OH...
MANY THANKS for your great photography!!

|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Pvt Harry J Sullenberger Jr|
Do you know on what day and where Private Harry J. Sullenberger Jr was killed
I have him listed as a Private in the 1st Infantry Divisionm, wounded in Sicily during operation Husky in July 1943. He was evacuated to North Africa but died of his sustained wounds.
He was buried in the temporary American Kairouan Cemetery in Tunisia, where he was buried in grave A-4-40. After the war his remains were repatriated and buruied in the Youngwood Cemetery in Youngwood, Pennsylvania.
You took a picture of his grave and I would ask your permission to use the picture for a book project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily. If he would have died there, he would have been buried in the GELA Cemetery.
Of course you will be credited and notified when the book ios finished.
Any information is more than welcome, if you have knowledge of any relatives, lease advise

I don't know anything about a military record for him. Next time you are there, maybe you can check out who is next to Mary Emma (Adair) Shaw.
Thanks so much for trying to help.

I called the library.
A gal gave me a P.O. Box 201 Delmont 15626 as the address for answers as to who is reported as being buried in East View. I mailed them a note on the 4th of Feb and I'm not very hopeful I will ever hear from them. I really want to believe that her husband is beside her.
Thanks for checking.

There are two listings for this person. One says Harrolds Church and yours that says St Johns Reformed Church Cemetery. Which one is correct?
