Working on my family history is my hobby. I've been at it about 15 years. I've picked up where my aunt, Harriette E Barrow left off. I was able to trace my family history and become a DAR member in 2006. Along the way I've met several cousins and have been able to help others with their genealogies. Thanks to my Aunt Frances for keeping scrapbooks. Thanks to my cousins for sharing: Marlea Rice Warren, Charlene Chesnut Dawson, Doris Porter, Bruce Barrow, Jason Roland Barrow, Dotty Barrow, Greg Cassady, Ting, Barrow, Jean Kay Chilson, Shelly Robbins Reese. I've also been extremely fortunate to meet others along the way who have helped me. They have been gracious and willing to share.|
I need to thank Joyce Tice, whose website, Tri-Counties Genealogy & History by Joyce M. Tice has been a valuable source in putting the family pieces together.
Also another valuable resource:
Old Fulton Postcards by Thomas Tryniski for NY newspaper clippings. This has been most helpful to me in linking my families.
I've added photos that I'm willing to share. I would only asked that I'm credited for my work.

Just found your memorial for Elizabeth Harris Spaulding. Are you related to Lizzy? She is the Grand Aunt of my husband. I have information on her parents and siblings to post.

|Bronwyn||RE: William T. Johnson|
Some things just never end. William T. Johnson and his sister Amanda (Johnson) Hagberg's death certificates both list their mother's made name as Carlson. Their brother, Charles Oscar Johnson's death certificate lists his mother's maiden name was Olson. Their father's death certificate, where the informant is his son William T. Johnson, lists, John Eric Johnson's mother's maiden name as Olson. So perhaps the informant on Charles Oscar Johnson's death certificate was confused???
I just took the maiden name off of Christina Johnson's memorial all together.

|Bronwyn||William T. Johnson in Everett|
I forgot this bit as well. William T. Johnson and Bertha Cessna married in Bedford County on December 21, 1904. He listed John E. and Christina Johnson as his parents.

|Bronwyn||William T. Johnson in Everett|
Thanks for your question. First, I would like to say that I don't have William T. Johnson linked to Christina Olsen Johnson, KAT has control over his memorial and I created Christina's memorial. Memorials are linked from child to parent.
Bertha Cessna Johnson was the informant on William T. Johnson's death certificate. It appears that she didn't really know her inlaws' names. ? Johnson, ? Carlson
This being said, I believe that Christina Olson is his mother. The 1880 Census out of Everett has William T. living with his parents and two siblings. His older brother, Oscar, was born about 7 years earlier than William T. Oscar was born in Sweden like his parents. Oscar (Charles Oscar Johnson) died in McKeesport, PA in 1941. His death lists his father as John Eric (failed to list the surname Johnson) and Christina Olson.
I hope this helps.

Does Jacob Rush have a memorial I can connect to? I have her husband linked already, but do her children have a memorial?
PS If you are related, I can transfer Ida.

|Christine Campbell||Suggestion in family of Mascho|
Thank you for suggesting it i was not sure how they were all related to each other. Other than just family of some sort to one another. I too ust Joyce Tice's website from time to time. I am continuing the search for headstones of relatives of my husband here in the counties along the NY/PA border.
|J Sadler||Re: Earl Barfoot suggestions|
There isn't a memorial for Lesley (she's still alive?) and I didn't find Laura so I couldn't link her. There are two James Barfoots do you know which one is the correct one?
If you're related would you like me to transfer it?
