RE: Radosevic photos
This memorial page was not created by me and I feel that Adella's marker photo should be added by and credited to you. Thanks for the offer though.

RE: corrections
Hi Karen,
Edits for the three persons have now been re-sent via the suggestion box. The edits originally were sent via the new Find A Grave edit system. In case you are not aware of it (if you are, please disregard this!), your Find A Grave contributor home page now has an 'Edits' tab at the top, on right-hand side. Click on that tab and you will be shown edits awaiting your review (there are other choices as well in a drop-down menu; e.g., edits you have submitted that are pending.) You can then choose to accept, decline, or ignore the suggested edits. (Much easier than manually inputting them.) I think that you do not receive an email notification for edits sent via the new system; you must look at your contributor page from time to time to check for new edit submissions.

RE: New Side Cemetery
Thank you for your response. It is sad how the old stones seem to disappear. Thank you again.

RE: Walter Griffin
You're very welcome. Should you need more don't hesitate to ask. I pass this way several times a week and it's a nice, quiet, and rural setting.

Anna Maria Catharina Anspach (Batdorf ) (Zeller)
Tried to send a message to your email. Can you change my 7x great grandmother's name and add some info? Or if you can transfer her to me, I will put in the info.

She is really Anna Maria Catharina Anspach. She married 1st John Jacob Peter Batdorf and 2nd Hans Zeller. On her findagrave site, she is listed as Anna Catherine Batdorf Zeller. Her maiden name was Anspach, and she was married 1st to John Jacob Peter Batdorf abt 1692 in Germany. They moved from Germany to Holland to London England to get the ships for America in 1708.

They had to live in camps awaiting the ships.
Many people died of Typhus. Her husband John Jacob Peter Batdorf died while waiting for the ship in 1709. She left with 5 children and her 3 brothers on one of the ten ships that would take 3,000 to America. 3 of 5 of her children died on the ship.

Catherina Elizabeth Batdorf and Johan Martin Batdorf with their mother Anna Maria Catharina Batdorf were taken to Nut Island (Governors Island) in NY to a refugee camp and lived in tents. 1400 of them were then sent to Livingston Manor, now called Schoharie NY, to work in the tar and pitch factories. There, she married 2nd Hans Zeller, and had 5 more children.

Robert Livingston had promised they would be able to buy the land, but he had already deeded it to others. 33 families finally went thru the woods to the river, built rafts, and went down the Susquehanna River to the Tulpehocken Settlement in Pa.

John Henrich Zeller #8812896

Just to let you know that there is a duplicate listing for this ancestor of mine. The duplicate is #80271061. He is actually buried in the Old Cemetery at Tulpehocken Trinity UCC. You can see the Zeller Family marker on the wall of the old cemetery mentioning him.

Thanks, Geoffrey
